Default Confusion

*ahem* Alright, so, uh...I think this is my third sig that I've made. Anyways, needless to say, I'm a total nugget to Photoshop, let alone sig-making, so, I was hoping for some feedback. Again, I don't know a whole lot about Photoshop, so this is the extent of my knowledge. I'm fine with criticism, but if you could offer some advice to back it up, it would be much-appreciated. The same goes with compliments. If I did something good, please let me know so that I can replicate it in the future. : P

I text is bad and the stock doesn't blend in at all, and there's no constant flow.

You mind explaining a little more? What do you mean by "the stock doesn't blend in at all"? Are the edges too sharp? Do I need to change the color scheme of the stock? Should I make it more opaque? etc. And what sort of guidelines would give to establish a "flow"? Like I said, I'm a nugget to this.
