Default Just wondering.
Why do alot of regular members of DM not post heir tags for crit? Mainly i see a hell of alot of people in the shops making tags, but a fair few never post their stuff for us. Just wondering why? I assume it's because of elitist behaviour, but that seems to have died down a bit now. It'd be nice to see a bit more activity there.

This.

I remember some of my first threads. They never got responses. No matter what I did, or what got posted. I was lucky to even get one post with non-critic (fangirls/boys).

I understand that, but didn't it give you the drive to improve? (I'm not saying that you haven't, haha.) It happened to me alot of the time (and still does a bit) but it makes me strive for more and pushes my limit to a certain extent.

Yes it did, and it still does. Though we did have sensitive people that posted, (do you remember that one eleven year old that made tags with paint?) and they'd basically get mercilessly dissected. To some they found CnC that was extremely brutal discouraging.

I was hoping people would come out of the shops and actively post. I mean, we don't bite .-., like seriously.

No i don't, and someone really needs to show me, lol.

And i really do hope more people will come out of the shops and be more active within the whole of DM. Not just for crit, but SotW and competitions, that would be ace.

I stopped bothering after getting little feedback. It's confusing b/c some members draw crowds, whether they be an old timer here or a newbie learning how to use GIMP.

I know I'm not one of those fags who work at a tag sweat shop but I've never really posted my tags and when I do I barely get cnc that I can use, hell I barely post threads in general. Overall I'm just fucking reclusive and none of you are helping.

Thats just it.

When we say CnC, we're talking Comments and Critic. It got to the point where we only get half or none at all. Few times we get the serious artist that critique over comment, and vice versa, and not always to our luck are those with the CnC artist.
