Hmm, I'd say #3 ftw.
Liking that the most since it doesn't have any white blobs on it, and the font is better.
The tag is pretty good I think.
Lighting and flow looks good, there is some depth, not liking white shit on his arm, so try to remove that.

So, Dan, you make your own set of avvys/tags/logos and we can combine them maybe.

Like Perm said, the white stuff on his arm needs to go.
You should also add more contrast and the text might look better if it was yellow(?)

thats as yellow as i was gonna go. any more intense and it draws too much attention.
