Merc, that vector kind of scares me, lol. Make the face less whats the word I'm looking for, oh yeah, asking for it. Actually, adding color to it may fix that.

stock is really flat and hard to do what you wanna do with it, and its way oversharpened.
The text doesnt fit and its difficult to read.
the color choice wasnt bad though, i like the colors you have.
Work more on getting depth and flow though.

It is barely sharpened, went over only 3 times, but the stock is Official Artwork, so it looks like that, from being inked and stuff when drawn.

You should work with better images.
there are also ways to fix the quality before you use it.

The tag has too much going on for my tastes. The colors aren't so good either, for this tag I would suggest lighter colors of yellow and or red for the background. The flow to me is \o/ but it needs work on the right side since it looks more | than / to me. The yellow at the bottom looks too unorganized and the text just doesn't need to be there.

The second tag I don't like the color of the text it distracts me..I liked it better in B&W but that tag overall is good.

@Kubota: Take the bars of the tag and take off the text. The purple in the background needs work it's too noticeable and bright compared to the rest of the tag. Try adding more blues and greens instead. This stock to me is bit harder to work with than the ingame images(like the cover of FFX box wold be slightly better) though I think there is a higher version around here somewhere. but the stocks needs more blending but also it needs a slight color change, try putting light colors over it and or gradient maps that brighten it up some and that show the contrast in it. Flow is well eh..either go for a \/ look or a \\ look but not both lol. You are improving though.

Soji, youre tags edges are really noticeable, you should do somethin to fix that and then sharpen up the effects around the stock. everything else is too blurred. A light source would be a plus too.

Aof, your light source is really bright and doesnt affect the stock like it should, but you have a nice flow going.

Anyone, have any small sized cut stock packs, not small file size, but not huge, but a small size as in the stock. That are good to practice with.

k. It might be hard to add more detail to the nose because the original stock is really bright and there really isn't any shadows on her face.
