Default No More Heroes

I'm not sure how many Wii owners have heard of this game. It's from the creators of Killer7, Suda51.

The game was originally supposed to be out February 29th, but Suda51 told IGN that the game will be out over a month early, slating for a January 22nd release date. Which is great news to me because I really want to play the game.

Originally slated to release Feb. 29, the quirky cel-shaded cousin of Killer 7 is now set to hit store shelves on Jan. 22. The original release date would have pitted No More Heroes against heavy hitter Super Smash Bros. Brawl, so was this a shrewd marketing move on Ubisofts's part, or merely a coincidence?
Below are a bunch of videos I found on YouTube for all of you who haven't seen much of the game.

I read an article about this, and it looks interesting. My only concern is the guy's name, primarily his last. Travis Touchdown? WTF?

I don't care about that. I mean, he got his weapon at an auction or something stupid like that. It looks like one hell of a game though and I'm thankful I have money for it.

Thank goodness I have a job. =) I'm glad they are coming out at different times now, or else I wouldn't be able to afford both of them.

Yup, February's going to be a good month with No More Heroes and SSBB for the Wii.

EDIT: Oh wait, didn't notice that No More Heros release date was changed.

February belongs to SSBB, January belongs to No More Heroes, hence the SUBJECT of this thread about the game coming out early.

Wow, that's probably the shallowest concern imaginable.

No More Heroes is meant to play out like a B film, where the hero gets a ridiculous weapon through insane circumstances, and from then all out it's just blood and gore up till the finale. Travis Touchdown is just part of the experience, and it's stupid to even worry about the name.

It just irks me for some reason. I highly doubt it'll stop me from playing the game though.

The game is fairly interesting, but the battle system bothers me a bit. Seems you just hit A mindlessly and then you have to move your Wiimote in the proper direction after a few strikes. I hope it won't become boring doing that after a while.
There is also a fair amount of wrestling and Star Wars crap (the guy guards from bullets using his katana/light saber) which is pretty amusing.

I just bought Killer 7 a few weeks ago in preparation for NMH. I can't wait, I just hope I got enough money for all the games I'm getting these next 2 months.
