There is also a fair amount of wrestling and Star Wars crap (the guy guards from bullets using his katana/light saber) which is pretty amusing.
It's a helluva lot better than swinging mindlessly the Wiimote like most games.

The game looks like it has a lot of soul, which is pretty much the case with all Suda-51 productions. I especially like the idea of having to shake the Wiimote to charge the batteries in the weapon, seemingly little touches like that.

At least it isn't waggling. Thats all you have to do, shake from side to side. And thats not for long either. I like the fact the attack button is a.. convenient.

Gametrailers.com - No More Heroes - Review

8.2? Not bad. I think most reviews will be around 8.0 to 8.5. It sucks for me cause I can't play it......

I've pretty much been raving about No More Heroes for the past year. Unfortunately, haven't gotten a chance to play it yet. Really want to though.

I have no money. College can be a real B***h. I may end up renting it from someone.

EDIT: IGN: 7.8
Xplay: 5/5

I'm quite surprised that X play gave it a 5/5. I was kinda expecting a 4.

EDIT: Gamespot 9.0
Wow. That in my opinion is unexpected.

My bro just went to Game Stop and they were sold out. He's gonna check out some other stores though, so I should have No More Heroes by tomorrow.

I have it, and I've got to say, after LoZ:TP, it may very well be one of the best games for the Wii yet.

Weird names, insane circumstances, and obvious star wars references aside, it's easy to get into, the story is fun as travis ascends the ranks, and the in between side jobs are pretty entertaining. You earn money which you can use to buy travis new clothing, buy and upgrade weapons, and go to the gym to increase your strength, vitality, and combo ability. You can also buy videos you can watch at Motel "No More Heroes" to learn new wrestling moves.

Travis has five roullette abilities, which can be used when you get three in a row of anything on the roullette that appears after a successful death mode strike during a mission. Very cool.

My only concern is that its a little on the short side. I'm already rank five, and I just got it yesterday. Last copy, BTW.
