A few retail places have listed that as the release date. It may not be true, but all GOW games have been released in March (that is U.S. release dates I guess I should say =/) and its a possibility that thats the date. We'll just have to wait and see. Oh also this article from 3 days ago:

Well last i heard God of War 3 wasnt suppose to be released until winter of 09. So unless they are pretty far into the game and believe no set backs are going to occur then there will be no way it gets released next march.
