ok I think I just lost all hype!: What we know so far:
-no in-game cross voice chat
- no custom soundtracks(unless games spport it)
- not all games support in game music(games will be updated throgh a patch)
-devs are working on trophies now(expect patches in fall : [ )
- U must replay game to get trophies due to the easy cheating from getting online saves
- In gamexmb only works on ps3games
-Sony is nt requiring all games to have trophies now. but in the ftre all games will reqire them!

I'm content with it. As long as I can view and send messages. Oh, and get my clock. I'm happy with it.

Sony says they're going to continue to "evolve" and flesh out the features later on, so like atleast you're getting something right now, and can look forward to later this year, I guess, when they flesh it out more.

Anyway, I like the idea of the "Platinum Trophy", wherein you earn that trophy when you've gotten every other trophy in the game, it's a prize for unlocking everything below it. As it stands now, there's no particular reason to get all 1000 achievement points in a game on Xbox Live, there's no super big special bonus specifically for getting the big 1000, so like even if you're at 920 achievements, you don't feel the need to get those extra 80.

Yeah I'm still happy with it. I could careless about Voice messaging, the in-game music will probably work with most games, and we don't know how long exactly it'll take deveolpers to get all the patches out, the time varies. As long as we get some trohpies, In-game messaging and music, I call it a win.

And like Muffin said, Sony will evolve it more and more, at least we get something now. We also get some replay value since we have to play the games again and I can assure you, one of the first games to get patched with trophies will be MGS4 with its amazing sells and reviews.

That sucks that we have to re-do every trophy acheivement.

This would especially suck if Konami made a Big Boss emblem-related trophy.

got a quick question for those who play Warhawk. On the right side of my screen a player's ID will appear and I hear what appears to be garbled talking, any idea what this is about? It's kind of annoying.

That would be someone's mic. I don't know exactly but my guess is its some kind of bad connection with their mic, a problem with the mics that came with Warhawk when it was first released, or a problem with the game itself.

Speaking of Warhawk, anyone else going o play it non-stop tommorrow? It is one of the only games already released that has trophie support and with the update tommorrow, I'm going to try and stop my MGS marathons and play it to get some trophies. Does anyone know if we can get trophies from demos of games? Probably not but I was just wondering.

I don't think they'd throw trophies into demos and I don't see the need for them in Warhawk, there's already enough metals and other awards.

I'm pretty sure that SSHD is the only game that will support trophies tommorrow. Warhawk is slated to have trophies, but I don't think that they will not be out tommorrow. I hope I'm wrong though.

It's suppose to have a patch for it,I just thought it would be out tommorrow along with the update. But from what you have quoted in your post dragonmaster, does it mean it'll be out tommorrow or by "slated" does it mean it'll be out in a later date? Why can't they just be straight foward with us >.>
