Actually, the 2.4 update has been taken off for download because it was screwing up some PS3s, but a very small number from what I heard.

I'm fairly certain that it can play pretty much anything besides something like avi files or something. Wasn't there an update for Xvid?

Well I'm a few years late but I finally beat MGSs 1-3, now I'm finally enjoying MGS4

Incorrect. PS3 can play AVIs it just depends on what files is inside the AVI container. The only file types are incompatible with PS3 of the top of my head are .mkv, .mov, and x264 encoded files.

What do you have to do to let the PS3 to play PS2 games?

Well it depends on what model you have. If you have:
20GB (lol) - You can't play PS1 or PS2 games.
40GB - You can only play PS1 games.
60GB - You can play all PS1 and PS2 games.
80GB - You can only play 75% of PS2 games, but all PS1 games.
If your PS3 supports PS2 games, then they should pop up on the screen like PS3 games You just click on the disc and boom, you're now enjoying a PS2 game.

2 questions on warhawk,
is there any info on how you can get trophies in warhawk
and this is the big one, why hasn't my profile info changed since the first time I looked at it. Like it still lists the same amount of wins/losses/kills/deaths and most importantly points. What gives? I've been playing a bunch of battles, why arn't they registering?

No new news on the patch (probably because they're waiting on Sony to rerelease 2.4 or 2.5) and you're most likely playing on non-ranked games. You have to play games that have a Blue dot next to em, not a white, those are player-made.

I just got home today so havent gotten to my PS3 yet so i was wondering if the downlaod is ready or was it pushed back once again.

So has anyone set up the MGO clan? I haven't played it yet (snagged the update), but I heard you have to earn something or another.

I haven't played MGO in ages which makes me sad. I stopped playing the game completely because I'm waiting till the trophies for MGS4 are released in a patch so i don't have to do the BBE playthrough anymore. I've heard that you'll have to beat certain items again to gain trophies because of all the people who download game saves and play them off as their own games so there's proof of you earning the trophy. I'm at the end but yeah and I don't pick up the game period because i know if i start playing MGO I'll want to play MGS4 so I've gone cold turkey I'm afraid.



Also me and Rikken were going to make clans but i found out I had to be a higher level an a certain amount of hours online so I just said screw it. Hopefully someone else will or has made the KHIF clan if not I guess I could play a couple games with some forums peoples and make something of it until i have enough to make said clan.
