I seen it on youtube and they said it was only lagging because so many people were on because of the special meeting they were having. But I haven't played it myself so i dunno

It appears that the public beta test for the PlayStation Network’s PlayStation Home service is getting ready to kick off in March. PS3 owners are likely going to be able to jump into the world of Home very shortly.

Reports are that many members of the official PlayStation Forums are being notified to link their accounts on the forums with their PlayStation Network accounts.

The e-mail has gone out to members of the Official European PlayStation Forums and is also likely to go out to those in North America as well. We have already received an e-mail from one of our readers that he has received the e-mail from Sony in North America.

The e-mail states that users must link their PlayStation Network account to their PSN user ID before March 16, 2008.

With the PlayStation Network and the Official PlayStation Forums now joining forces, it only makes sense that from this point forward, Sony is getting closer to a public Home beta for all PS3 owners to try out.

Sources are stating that the Home beta could begin as soon as this month, so it could be just a few weeks away!

There's an FAQ as a sticky on the forums that teaches you how to, but all I did was log out and signed back in and the message came up.

OK screw the home beta i dont care anymore i rather wait for other demos for games that are actually going to be good. Home is just sims PS3 style.

Well today's the last day to connect the PSN accounts so nothing has taken effect. What I want to see is what happens on the 20th with that count (most likely nothing but I'm curious)

I seriously need a new game. I'm banking on DMC4 or COD4. Either 1, I swear If I wasn't saving to go to the Gears of War tournament host by MLG in April I'd buy em both :[

NO but yeah i would say CoD4 is the better bet. Cause what i hear alot of people are beating DMC quicker than they thought. CoD4 though is amazing. Even though you can beat the story in about 10 hours the online play is where it is at anyway.

Home got too annoying. Really if i want to create a character and go around and talk to people online i will get a damn game for my computer. The only game i see coming to the PS3 in the next few months that i consider a must buy is MGS cause that looks way to awesome.

Home, meh. I'm waiting for MGS4 as well, though while I do that I'll get Grand Theft Auto IV to help me get through this draught of games, might even pick up Haze, it just sucks that we (as in EU PSN users) gets crappy updates, I pretty much only go on my JP and NA accounts.
