You know what would be nice, if you could connect to the store on the psp, tell it to start downloading a demo, update, whatever onto your ps3 at home. That way it'd be done, or at least farther, when you get home.

lol, yeah, you should put that in Sony's suggestion box. I hate waiting for downloads. I usually do them at night, then I end up falling asleep. Especially since I have a slow connection :/

I'll hopefully be getting a PSP tommorrow and I was wondering, will I be able to access my PS3 from my PSP right out of the box or do I have to buy something? Great news about the store, its a pain waiting, took me like 1-2 hours to download the Force Unleahsed demo today. At least we can play games while it downloads though.

All you have to do is log into your PSN accounts on both systems, as far as I know.

Can't you already start downloading things via remote play?

You should just wait for the 3000 man :/ lol

Anyway, no, you have to set up remote access / remote play.

You'd have to set up stuff on the PS3 and all. I forgot how it all works.

Hate to say this, but I really do not see a point in them doing that. I am more likely to turn on my PS3 before my PSP and if there is an update for the PS3 it says it off the bat. I tend to update at night or when no one is going to be home. That way internet users don't screw it up. I gave up downloading demos because of pretty much the same reason.

I was saying that if you were away from it, like at school or a friend's house. It would remotely turn the ps3 on and start downloading automatically. Then you could go do whatever with life and have whatever it is downloaded when you start to feel reclusive.

Again, can't you already do some of that via remote play. As long as you have a Wi-Fi connect, it should work, right?

No. You can connect the PSP to the PS3, but I believe you need to have it as a wired connection. PSP isn't blutooth and even if it was it still wouldn't work mainly because the distance.

Yea, mastermind you can do it via Remote play. Did it at my uncles house. It just takes a few tries to connect to PS3! Once you connected its as simple as it is on the PS3!

I know and I did take your suggestion into a great deal of thought but the extra features weren't enough to overpower the greatness that is the color red. The only feature that I liked was the built in mic and the nice new PS button but I really wanted the red PSP. But don't worry, I know Sony will release a Red PSP 3000 just to rub it in my face and you can laugh at me if you want. But thank you for your opinon But if they come out with a pink one, my sister will have the bragging rights since after seeing mine, she wants one really bad xD

Remote play works wonders and it saves me the trouble of spamming my Memory Stick with pics that were already in the PS3. It's just too bad my DS will be ignored until a good game comes along.
