Also might not be good idea to come to my realm if don't play Horde.. So if you still going to join one of our realms, join Schmoopy's..

Does anyone know if I'll have to download any extra patches once I buy TBC WoW expansion?

I already have 2.3 installed. so will I just have to put the disk in, let it install and then it will be ready?

Downloading patches sucks so much on dial up :'(

Wait, you're wanting to play WoW on dial up?

Also, since recent patch, 1-60 is incredibly easy. 60-70 already went fast.

dude, It plays great on dial up. unlike other mmos. Only lag for me are in BGs. its fine everywhere else.

Then you have one incredibly bizarre dial up connection, or you're on a good small realm. What is your latency usually?

I have 1.5 gigs of ram so that helps me. WoW was designed to play on dial up, not just high speed. My latency is around 400-1500 depending on if im in a major city or BG. My fps never drops below 30, even in IF.

And i'm on a Medium/high populated realm.
