I recently bought the Sonic game for ps3. i heard bad things about it but i assumed that people were just being ****s because of sonic's declining popularity. but..i soon learned that this game was horribe. i knew this when i first bought it at gamecrazy. i asked the guy

"Hey how much is Sonic the hedgehog for Playstation 3" he replied
"12.99 New"

That in itself led me to belive somethin was up bc i dont ever see a ps3 game under 30 bucks. i turn the game on. and there is no intro just the words sonic the hedgehog and music in the BG but i still was not discouraged. as i played the game i enjoyed it ....for 30 minuites. the very first level. pissed me off....when you do the speed stuff and u cant control it. i died there several times....its a cool concept but....to loose and can die WAY to easily next what botherd me was the lack of a decent map and radar system. i could go on for longer but i am takin interest in making a AMV at this moment.

They need to make a game exaclty like Sonic adventure with the same mecanincs just updated graphics storyline and so on and so forth. BRING BACK THE CHAO BABIES!!!

My favorites were SA2, Sonic Advanced 1, 2 and 3. I never played much of the old ones so meh.

Right now, I'm kinda looking forward to the new Sonic game. It looks like something different this time around. So I might buy it.

I meant onic 2 in the very first Sonic serie.. The game where Tails were introduced... Sonic and Tails.

Shadow the hedgehog was terrible. I thought so, at least. It just was a total letdown. Anyone else agree?

Also, was Sonic Rivals any good?

Eh, it's a good time killer. Hardly one of the best sonic games out there. But for me, anything is better compared to Sonic and the Secret Rings.

everyone knows that shadow is better than sonic in every way possible. he looks cooler hes faster(even if he is wearin rocket skates) and much more i dont want to get into details that'll take too long to explain. like i said shadow is way better than sonic.

Personally, I like Knuckles more than Sonic, and Shadow even moreso. . .

But the latest attempts at a Sonic game have ended in fail.

I agree with bringing back the adventure games. . .

It hasn't been made clear in any game yet, who actually is stronger/better/faster.

Might be old. Might not be. Sonic Unleashed confirmed to be coming out on four platforms this holiday season.

Umm...okay, they did it with Zero Gravity, so I guess they can pull it off here, too. >.>

By the way, there have been a few new trailers a while ago, I don't know if anyone really noticed it over at the Sonic Unleashed thread, but since we've got an "official discussion thread" now, I guess I'll just quote it:

Sega has now also put up the official site for "Sonic Unleashed" so I guess it's an official title now.

Oh, and the Official Nintendo Magazine has announced their first playtest of the game for their 29th issue, coming out on April 11th.

Seems a pretty interesting game until now, imo.
