Me, through sheer determination and patience. Sometimes through trade. My girlfriend, on the other hand, is VERY lucky, she's only ever gotten 2, Treeko and Meditite. But that's goot when you consider she's only played the game a few times. Unfortunately, she got the Treeko on an emulator save, so i can't steal it xD

I've pretty much given up all hope of ever getting a shiny even through the Poke Radar trick I don't have the ultimate patience for.

I actually tried that and never got the hang of Pokeradar. I heard you can get LOTS of shinies through that ><

Yeah that's how I first found out about the shiny ones through a website article that said that was one of the easiest ways to get at least one, but it required tons of patience.

Its basically just a device that you can use while you're in shallow grass areas that quite a few certain Pokemon such as Nidoran (male/female), Wobbuffet, and so on only appear in. You can then move over to the area of the grass that is moving and you'll automatically get into a encounter with something and so on.

Where/whom can I get the Poke radar from?

I believe Prof. Rowan gives it to you once you beat the e4.

Yeah Prof. Rowan does give it to you but only after you've seen all 150 (151 counting Manaphy but he's optional) in the Sinnoh region.

I have seen about 120 Pokemon,just 30 more.

I'm gonna be training for the league when I play Diamond.

PokeRadar does come in handy, especially once you get the National Dex too, cos it helps identify where the rarer Pokemon are too

is there going to be a pokemon game called pokemon thunderyellow or waterblue ? or are they're going to leave it as firered and leafgreen ? i think you guys know where i'm getting this idea at. O.o

I doubt they'll do Thunder yellow. I'd love it, but highly doubtable. If you want it, there's a site that had Thunder yellow as a rom. I'm not sure if it's up and running yet though.

i was thinking thunderyellow would be reserved for the ds. hmm... i wonder what kind of names will they put for silver and gold ? windsilver and... uhh rockgold ? icecrystal ?
