Here's a online guide that I found:Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Walkthrough its quite long so you'll probably have to scroll down quite a bit to find the exact spot where you're stuck at.

Ask most of us, we didn't really like it at first and it grew on us. You meet better characters, the gym leaders get tougher and the game is full of side-things-to-do, trust me.

I must admit the start was quite slow, but I thought the graphics were quite an upgrade, and the sprites were refreshed! I feel it's slightly generic to all the other titles though, but nevertheless an excellent addition.

I myself got bored at first but after going farther and getting more Pokemon it becomes really fun.

Quite so! It's not that I thought the start was boring, but it dragged on the introduction a bit. >_> But I totally agree with the more you play, the better it gets!

The only things I didn't like about it were that the towns and cities weren't as nice as the previous games' towns and cities and the soundtrack was boring.

Who plays Pokemon for the background music? Yet, I find it tolerable, sometimes soothing, depending on the mood.

It's all quite 'meh' to me really. I enjoy the music because it's there, and with future releases; the music can only get better.

Only good attack he's got is Iron Head. IMO.
If you're gonna give him a bug attack, it needs to be X-Scissor, he'll beast out a lot more damage with it than Silver Wind. Sacrificing the possible stat upgrade is something I'd do, since he's supposed to be somewhat of a sweeper.
I'd reteach him Swords Dance and X Scissor over Silver Wind and Strength. Wing Attack is also semi-useless, since it doesn't get STAB and it's just a medium powered attack with decent coverage. I mean the type coverage is its only redeeming factor imo, but I'd rather swap that out for a better attack of some sort like Night Slash or something >_> but that's just my opinion. :x
