I don't this. How come they can make good pokemon games for the handheld, but can't do it on the console?

It's because for some odd reason, they appear to be afraid of releasing a Pokemon RPG on consoles that is the same style and format as the handheld games! What the hell is wrong with them!? I havent played XD yet, but from what I hear, it sounds like just the same thing as Coliseum, and I already know that Coliseum was lame.

They dont even have to make a new story. They can just remake R/B/Y, G/S/C, or R/S/E onto a console! Just please, Nintendo, make a a traditional-style pokemon RPG onto a console system!!!!

I know Pokemon has always been like this, but its nice they change a few things... especially with the battle system.

Well yeah, but I,ve just heard bad critics, well GBA pokemon games were succesful =3, are the gamecube ones succesful? i guess I was judging without being sure.

Well, personally, I didn't like the Gamecube games much, but to be honest, they actually did do quite well. They sold extremely well, and didn't get many terrible reviews.(the reviews werent perfect, but were'nt all too bad either)

Also, you seem to be forgetting the huge history of sucessful pokemon games(Red/Blue/Yellow, Gold/Silver/Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Firered/Leafgreen, Pokemon Pinball, Pokemon Pinball(R/S), Pokemon Trozei, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, Pokemon Snap, Hey You, Pikachu!, etc.)

The games have gotten old you might as well say none of these pokemon are really new because most of them are Pre-Evolved forms and Evolved forms probably they ran out of ideas after Ruby and Sapphire so they might as well stop with the games unless they can actually come up with 100 brand new pokemon that no one has seen before

Uh....you're retarded. Those are only A FEW POKEMON they have unveiled. There will probably be well over a hundred.

And since when are Manafi, Lucario, and a few other pokemon pre-evolutions? the only pre-evolutions unveiled are Munchlax and an evolution of Sneasel (Manyula).

They have not come out of ideas. The whole point about Pokemon games is that they are learning something new everyday, and discovering new species. Besides, most of the new pokemon they have unveiled are NOT pre-evolutions anyway

Well you see i would only use those games...and i mean ONLY to watch my pokemon battles in 3D. I heard that the storyline for XD Gale of Darkness isn't too bad, and there are pokemon you can only get in Colosseum.

I miss the Stadium games, those were fun as hell.

Because they don't want to mess up the series...pokemon was and always will be made for the handheld system, the whole point is the fact that you can take it anywhere and try to catch all the pokemon and trade.

A 3D - console game of it would kinda be weird...They already tried it with Colosseum and Gale of Darkness, and it wasn't so good.

Why do you think Diamond and Pearl are not pure 3D graphics? They could have done it, but they just made enhanced graphics, not 3D, to keep the old pokemon style ^_^

LMFAO Pokemon is the reason the GameBoy even exists. When a pokemon game comes out in japan, people from US are willing to pay near $100 for a measly handheld game.

It is extremely popular, after finding info on Diamond and Pearl, i picked up my gameboy, and i'm replaying all my games

(I have every handheld pokemon game but the pinballs...and red. My red version died after catching a MissigNo o_O)

This has actually been announced for over a year now. It's been under hush...for about a year. No info, just the names, and about 3 new pokemon. After E3 they released screenshots and pokemon shots, and a bunch of pokemon movies released in Japan like Pokemon: Lucario the Water God or something like that, uh a movie about Rayquaza, another one about Mew, and another with some other unknown Pokemon

Will someone tell me how many pokemon there are now???? I lost interest after about 200-something.... the series went downhill after session 1 about at 3, if I remember correctly, I just stoped watching. But the games....the last on I bought was Ruby...and I have no clue whats going on now...

Since you're so confused, here are the recent Pokemon games

Pokemon Ruby: Takes place in a new place, with over 100 new pokemon.
Pokemon Sapphire:The Opposite version of Ruby, but takes place in the same place, and has 100 new pokemon.

Pokemon Leaf Green: A remake of the original Pokemon Blue/Green for the GB, in GBA glory, and with new pokemon, and 9 new islands.
Pokemon Fire Red:A remake of the original Pokemon Red for the GB, in GBA glory, and with new pokemon, and 9 new islands.

Pokemon Emerald: A new version of Ruby/Sapphire, that includes new pokemon, new gear, the battle frontier---a whole new area of the continent and so much more.

Uh, I think you got the wrong idea. The new roster of pokemon won't be mostly pre-evolved pokemon... But anyways, pre-evolved pokemon aren't bad or anything...

tell me tux_, how does that prove anything? There will be a lot more pokemon, what if they decided to show more pre-evolutions so that it wouldn't spoil us too much?

Bonsly
Manene
Manyula
Manafi
Perappu
Buizeru
Tamanta

Only Bonsly, Munchlax, Tamanta, and Manene are pre-evolutions. Those are 4 pokemon out of a possible 100. How does that prove anything?

The second generation had many new pre-evolutions, such as Magby, Elekid, Pichu, Igglybuff and more. See? Those are 4 pre-evolutions, yet they had MUCH more new pokemon during the second generation era.
