EDIT: Probably old, but I just found unlockable wallpapers for D/P. You have to answer a guy's ?s, and depending on your trainer ID, your answer will have to be different. Right now there are only 4 wallpapers released:

Ok! With the Toy Fair '07, we have English names for 11 pokemon! Many more will be coming soon!

1. Natle is now Turtwig.
2. Hikozaru is now Chimchar.
*3. Poochama keeps its name with a minor spelling change-Pochama
4. Mimiroru is now Buneary.
5. Nyaruma is now Glameow.
6. Masukippa is now Carnivine.
*7. Bippa is now Beappa.
*8. Mukuru is now Staris.
*9. Pinpuku is now Happini.
*10. Floatsel keeps its name.
*11. Pachirisu keeps its name.

Numbers marked with * mean that they are subject to change.

I won't lie, I'll be getting this game... But I do find that recently the Pokemon creations (the new ones they have made up for the games) have been very... Well bad. They never seem to capture the awesome nature of the original 150 pokemon.

I agree, and disagree. I mean, I could make some character concept art, and it would be better than some of theirs. However, I do understand. Creating nearly 500 pokemon that are either evolutions or completely different from eachother is probably challenging. BUT

I do think, personally, that many of the new pokemon also are very awesome looking.

Shieldon is fugly. It's supposed to be a mockup of a triceratops baby, but that's just ugly. Just no.

I remember not thinking any of the 1st generation pokemon were ugly..now the pokemon team just lost some of their creative touch XD
