Speaking of those 9 masks, I found a wooden mask that looks like them. If you put it on you're teleported to this alter where you can place the 9 masks. I've only found 2 of them though so I have no idea what you get for finding them all.

Oh, and I was recently attacked by hired thugs for stealing something from someone. Strange thing is, I stole the stuff AFTER he was dead. What, did his ghost write out that contract?

Are the masks just random finds, or do you think they have set locations? If so, where did you find them or what are they called? D:

You find them on the Dragon Priests, so yeah, they're in set locations. I've found that Dragon Priests are often set free from the caskets once you've learned a word to a shout in certain locations; some Dragon Priests are involved in specific quests within perspective dungeons. You'll know when you see them. They fly around and use imposing magic techs once they emerge. The masks are unique items, each one looks different and offer peculiar abilities. I'm pretty sure getting all of them serves as a key to something greater.

I know that. I've fought two of them. My question was directed at Piercing Light, about the two wooden masks he found that take him to the area to place the masks. x]

Back to the subject of bandits whose greed overreaches their abilities, I was watching my dad play earlier. He had literally just killed a dragon when a Khajit "thief" runs up to him while the dragon's body is still burning away and threatens my dad with "your money or your life". We were just awestruck. Your standing under the corpse of the dragon I just killed with my bare hands...and you're threatening me? Then dad tries to intimidate the guy to end things relatively peacefully, and he's still talking shit. So he got his face melted off.

In multiplayer? If so, I'm getting this game for sure.

How can you not know that Skyrim - hell, all big Bethesda-developed games - are single player?

    Uh, what?

Been powerleveling my alchemy recently, It's hilarious because you can buy every ingredient a merchant has and use them to make potions that you can sell back for more than the ingredients originally cost. Made about 4000 gold from it so far and my alchemy is mid-50's

I both love and hate this song. On the one hand it is absolutely epic and awesome, but on the other hand it makes me sad that I don't have a console to play it, or a computer with a good enough graphics card. Curse my stupid integrated graphics card... I want to play this so much.

I was in an area where I had just finished fighting a dragon and not five minutes later another attacks, after that one went down I encountered yet another dragon. I got three dragon souls from the same area in less than fifteen minutes. Also I defeated a dragon once and I didn't get it's soul, it just laid there. I think it was a glitch or something. On a side note, has anyone figured out what you are supposed to do once you get the crimson nirnroot.

EDIT: On another side note, has anyone gotten an Elder Scroll yet?

Still not sure on the Crimson Nirnroot myself, I used almost all of mine on potions D: But yeah, I got the Elder Scroll yesterday. Since you're at the area with the crimson nirnroot, you should almost be at the scroll if you aren't already. It's only use really is to learn the Dragonrend shout, you don't do anything with it after that.

Spoiler Spoiler: pretty big spoiler I guess

Stumbled upon one of the masks on the west side of the map in the mountains (name of the place escapes but its not marked on my map). Learned a new dragon word and the priest rose out of the coffin and surprised the heck out of me. Tried to fight him (with dwarven mace and shield) while my flame atronach took his attention, but he killed it within seconds (yes I know, flame against "dragon priest.")

Spent the next 12 minutes sniping him between openings in the mountain with my arrows dodging his ice spells. Killed him and got theVolsung mask. 20% better prices in stores, 20 more capacity, and can breathe underwater indefinitely. Thought it was pretty cool. Increased my armor rating so I was happy.
