Hey guys, me and Orion have noticed, but how do you intentionally activate protection? I've done it 4 times to my doors, and i need it on my last one
EVERYONE. IF YOU WANT FREE SHIT AND ACCESS TO TONS OF XP.
If you find a dungeon that has a mob spawner that spawns Zombies and/or Skelletons, don't harvest the spawner, just tell me where it is. Then, I will make the xp farm there with a spawner that can already spawn hostile mobs, since I can't make a spawner that spawns hostiles.
Not sure. I've done it accidentally loads of times, but never on purpose.

Actually, I've figured out how to change spawners. The command is /mspawn for the Admins and and Mods
So this means the XP Farm is open, btw

2 or 3 zombies keep getting stuck on top of the spawner, Luap.

Also in the next update, supposedly, the Zombies will be able to break your wooden doors down in hard/ hardcore mode. The cats are getting sounds in the next snapshot, probably out later this week. Anyhow, I doubt I'll ever play on Hard or Hardcore, except when I want to play it and die on purpose because I like the pirate lang.'s game over screen. Err.. never mind. Anyhow, these adjustments to zombie AI are sounding scarier by the day. Actually, I'd say the AI in general, considering creepers are supposedly smarter to. Skeles and maybe zombies are getting a sense of self-preservation as well. No more blatantly standing around burning in the sunlight.

The wiki, though not the most reliable source, still says unknown, most likely February. Quite frankly, I'd like to see them take a little longer than between 1.0 and 1.1, but that's just me. Seriously, look at the crap the new guy and Jeb are doing.
Shit's getting smarter by the snapshot and now we have mob's interacting with mobs. Well, actually wolves and cats/ ocelots already do that with sheep/ chickens, but still. Zombies will now try to kill Notch (the vanilla) villagers/ Squilliams/ Squidwards and they'll break down those wooden doors to get to them if they have to. Creepers are scared of cats, though they seem to forget they're running towards other cats when in a circle they can't get out of. Also, the villagers seemingly talk to each other and passive mobs, run inside during rain or night, and from zombies. Oh, and zombies also attack doors to avoid burning up in the sun. Skeletons (finally drop their freakin' bows sometimes, possibly pre-enchanted bows) and two other mobs also have rare drops.
