64Kartin' Mario Style

Who still likes/remembers/played Mario Kart 64 for the Nintendo64? God, that game was simply amazing! I love it so much more then the more recent versions. Sure, graphics aren't exactly as cutting edge as today, but I still love the feel of it, the items, the characters. Feels right.

What do you think? Love it? Hate it? What character you liked, what stage, items... care to share?

I remember it, it was my favourite game ^^
i dont have the console or game anymore but i used to play it all the time when i was younger. i was always peach, which is kind of ironic since i cant stand her now lol.
no matter how advanced the latest games coming out are, theres something about the N64 that makes it so much more awesome to play - the other ones are good but for some reason just arnt the same... IMO at least anyway.

The 64 kart was great, but right now I really love the Wii. Bikes rule.
Now if they added some way to avoid the Blue Shells then I would be happy

you can on the wii game ^^
u need a speed mushroom ,then just as the shell circles and is about to drop, use the mushroom and you'll avoid the blue shell and get an extra long boost.

That game is probably good for nostalgic feelings thats why im not so fond of it. I downloaded it for my psp 3000 and its really bad. The turning is far different to other games because you move to the right when you turn left for some reason. Newer games dont do this. The 2D avatars are pretty bad aswel. Im usually a mega fanboy for mario games but that one is pretty bad to me.
