It's the way of this generation, you'll be hardpressed to find an offline co-op game. Halo, LBP, Gears, uhhh Kane and Lynch.

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm also half asleep, so forgive me.

LBP has offline co-op. Seriously I'm getting sick of the lack of offline multiplayer.

It's not that hard to just make the co op offline is it? They already have it all worked out and just need to split the screen in half.

Graphics will need to be downgraded if played on split screen. The developers said that.

I truly dislike the lack of offline multiplayer on most of the games of this generation.
The only games I have on the PS3 that have offline multiplayer are RE5 which has two player co-op, Resistance 2 which has an offline co-op campaign for two players and DBZ: Burst Limit, which is a fighting and so obviously has a two player vs mode.

Is the demo just the multiplayer? Cuz I already played that from InFamous, so I'm assuming nothing's different?

If you have not already, get off the computer and DOWNLOAD THIS DEMO! Playing it has made me just that much more excited for the game. I mean, the demo itself could be a full game. I can't imagine how the real thing will be.

I especially love the cinema mode. Use it and you'll see what I mean.

Jagged Edges? The game was beautiful. And that's just the beta demo! I was very pleased with the graphics.

As for the connection, I had absolutely no problem with it at all. No lag at all and I haven't been dropped from any games.

There's a few differences. Of course it's more up to date and it has "two new maps, two new competitive modes and one more co-op mode than our June Multiplayer Beta." According to the ps blog.

Also not sure if the June beta had this but the Cinema, the Machinima mode is also available.

No, June beta only had Village and Temple multiplayer levels, that co-op mission (though it ended when that final boss appeared on screen), and that was it.
No machinma/cinema mode, or the two other new levels.
