As a result, provided fan reaction continues to be feverishly positive over the demo, and the very notion of a FFVII remake is certainly something Square Enix would bear in mind when planning future projects.

Does this mean it's on? Probably not at this exact moment, but at this point, we're willing to bet it's not a matter of if an FFVII remake will happen, but when.

You know, Crisis Core had better graphics than the original FFVII, so that may be what you're looking for.

LIke i said they need to either give me a new better title or just give me a Chrono Trigger game cause i dont really care for a remake of FF games that i have and can bust out and play on my PS3 when i want. Though if they do a remake of either 7 or 8 i will get sucker in and buy if its better graphics plus alittle extra content.

So, I have bad news. It's been confirmed that FFVII wil not have a remake, maybe a spin-off or a sequel but not a remake. The website (found on N4G.com) also states that they are questioning how reliable their sources are since one of the rumors was FF7 being able to download off of Xbox Live, but Sony owns the rights to FF7. Kinda of a let down to me and most likely many others, but now I'm extremely curious as to what it might be.

Wasn't it also confirmed awhile ago that FFXIII would be PS3 exclusive? Yeah, we all know how THAT turned out.

FFVII's gonna get a remake. It's just a matter of when.
