Okay personally I love Rock Band better than it's competitor, Guitar Hero, but thats just one person's opinion. What do you think?
Rock Band or Guitar Hero, and why?

The only thing Guitar Hero has over Rock Band is the target area. With Rock Band, you have to be so precise, and it gets hard when playing a fast song and you can't do it.

Another thing Guitar Hero does better, is the guitars. The Rock Band guitar's are hard to use, because you don't know if you're pressing it down or not, the GH guitars have the clicky dealy thing.

They both are tied in my opinion.

Guitar Hero focuses on the guitar. Nothing else and succeeds in doing that well. The game is fun and the controls work. Its a solid game and the soundtrack fits because the songs have guitar parts in them.

Rock Band focuses on a full fledged band. It has the the "developers tried to everything at once to beat out the competition" syndrome. It does everything well but not excellent. It doesn't beat out guitar games or drum games or any other games. Except SingStar maybe. Its a good game but tries to focus on to much at once.

Winner: Tie

I can't play guitar Hero on easy but I can play Rock Band on medium... Wonder why?

I'll try to reword:
Rock Band is a good game and does well in the multiple categories but doesn't excel in them.

Old Guitar Hero schools Rock Band. I could care less about the new Guitar Hero.

However, real guitar beats all. Hate to break it to you, but being able to beat Through the Fire and Flames on Expert proves absolutely nothing. Except that you have no life.

Well Rock Band haves better songs IMO. But I haven't played Rock Band so I can't say a big thing about that. Still I've watched videos and it looks kewl. One mistake they made, drums they are so weak.
Of course GH is my second favourite console game, after KH of course. Third is Halo3.

Still Rock Band should be cool on PSN or Xbox Live, hoping I can give a try to that

Harmonix made the best Guitar Hero. GHII > GH > GH 80's > GH World Tour > GHIII > GH Aerosmith > GH On Tour

Then again World Tour is just a rip off that Activision made by seeing what Harmonix did and adding more to their idea...

I really cant be sure. Ive played Rock Band once and thought it was alot of fun. But I just dont think that you can beat the Simpleness and pure fun that created a huge fanbase of rhythm games.
So for now I say Guitar Hero all the way.

I WANT TO TRY OUT ROCK BAND!

It looks interesting and I've been playing Guitar Hero and still not getting better at it. Ah well.

I like to try new games anyway.

Anyway, Guitar Hero is more specialized in single and two player experiences. Rock Band is more focused on 4 player experiences. So, really, it is hard to choose.
