Wow, I haven't played Tekken in a long time.

Love the story, looking forward to Tekken 6.

In Tekken 3, Jin had a good fighting style, but in Tekken 4/5 it got changed.

My favorite character is Kazuya Mishima

Jin's fighting style in Tekken 3 was a combination of his father,Kazuya and his mother Jun Kazama's fighting style.
The Mishima fighting style was called the Mishima Fighting Karate and the Kazama fighting style was called Kazama-Style Self Defense and the combination fighting style was pretty good but his fighting style in 4 and 5 is,well, better,in my opinion.

Tekken 6 looks extremely promising. My favorite characters are Jun, Jin, and Eddy.

I like Jun because she was the first character I mastered (way back in Tekken 2).
Jin has got the most interesting character. It seems he is the villain in TK6 but we dont know for sure.
Eddy (also Christie and Tiger) have got the most fluent fighting style. The moves seem to blend into each other. When Jun was not in Tekken 3, I mastered Eddy/Tiger.

I got Tekken 2, 3, Tag, 4, 5, Advance, Dark Resurrection (PSP) and Tekken 1, 2, and 3 Arcade. I cant seem to find Tekken 1 anywhere and I dont have a PS3 for T5DR. Yes, I am a huge fan of this series. I am so hoping that Jun is in Tekken 6 console version. I dont like Asuka as much. I know it probably wont happen but the huge gap between the TK6 arcade release and console release opens up possibilities.

From Tekken 6, I'm most looking forward to Zafina's story.

What surprises me most is that the game keeps going on and on. I got bored with the series after the second game and since i am not really into fighting games i have never really bothered to pick this up cause its the same over and over. I might give this a rent but not really look forward to it.

Then you've missed the good titles. Tekken 1 and 2 are the only Tekkens I've stopped playing. Tekken has never been one of those "repeated games but with updated graphics" except from Tekken 5 to Tekken 5DR (which actually had more characters and stages and modes as well). Tekken 1 was not so great IMO, but I've only played the arcade version. Tekken 2 was excellent for its time and had a great story for a fighting game.

From Tekken 3 onwards I claim it to be the best fighting series. The graphics of T3 were a huge update from T2. It also introduced Force Mode which I thought was pretty damn good. Story-wise, it started Jin Kazama's epic tale. Combos and moves started expanding, allowing players to rank from beginner to pro. T3 onwards made me feel that the Tekken series has the best video game soundtrack.

Tekken Tag Tournament introduced a Tag mode in Tekken and has a mega character roster with plenty of outfits, plus bowling mode. Tekken 4 (my fav) had a new version of Force Mode and the deepest story of all the titles. It also brought in the walls in the arenas. Tekken 5 brought new characters, the Devil Within mode, and a new style of Story mode. It also introduced the customization for the characters.

Also keep in mind that new characters (added in every Tekken) dont just mean new looks. The gameplay, strategy, combos change when you're playing as them or fighting them. New moves and combos are also added in every installment. There are also little differences like the bound system or rage but not worth mentioning because only people who play the games often would notice these. However that is enough to point out the differences.

That is huge,really huge.

I think he will be a character who is slow but his attacks will do a large amount of damage.

Yeah, most probably he will be slow.

Which is a good thing, because Tekken 5's boss was fast and strong, which was an impossible combination to be honest.

Yeah,Jinpachi Mishima was hard because of his strong attacks and fast movement but it was still fun fighting with him because I liked the challenge and now there are two confirmed bosses which are bigger than any previous Tekken boss and they will probably pose a tough challenge to the players.
