| I'm chocolate chip | He means illegally hacking your PSP. You can't make your own kinds of games for the PSP, but you can download certain games from the Playstation Store for like $5 to $10 each, mostly Playstation 1 games or arcade sorta games. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Ahh the PSP. Fantastic. Like the Game boy before it started what a hand held was meant to be like so with PSP define what hand held will be. Discs instead of cartridges, internet connection, music player, movie player, customizable background, memory cards, and epic games. What's not to like? |

Oh boy, expensive proprietary formats, and load times, boy howdy. That is slow an nigh unusable for anything of use. Unless you mean online multiplayer gaming, which is a given That will never be as good, have as much space, or be as functional as products used to specifically play music On proprietary disc formats that will only ever be able to be played on the handheld, and as expensive as a regular DVD despite this limitation. You know I'm just chomping at the bit to buy that, and not, you know, a regular DVD that I can actually use. I forgot the part where this was vital to gaming. Regardless, yes this is something that will be a given in future handhelds. And the other handheld out on the market doesn't have these? And every handheld before it?

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | PSP looks better has a presentation for games (Which matters because it needs to keep the person playing) PSP Games Prince of Persia Final Fantasy games most notable 1, 2 and 7 CC, Tactics God of War Star Wars Battle Front Rouge Squadron Metal Gear Solid Silent Hill Sports games that actually seem familiar in game play Daxter Naruto Clash of Ninja Medal of Honor Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Tekken Jeanne D' Arc Bleach Heat of the Soul Loco Roco Initial D Grand Theft auto Sid Mieir's Pirates Socom Field Commander Dead Head Fred Also has a 6 hour life while the new DS docks out around 5 All have excellent presentation, game play, and graphics. Online play is much easier on the PSP. Added with the features it is not even close to failure. The DS makes its epic titles look like crap. The 3D sonic games of the hand held universe. |

Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The DS has better marketing and a larger gaming library than the PSP will ever have. This is coming from a guy who prefers the PSP over the DS, and even I'm smart enough to know that. For each of the games you listed, two DS games with similar quality can be named. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | Personally I would recomend buying a PSP. It's a system with quite a few possibilities. I bought it recently after the Crisis Core release, and I've already used it for gaming and internet use. Even though it's not a laptop, and typing take a long time, the internet is plus. You can have full ability to browse at any wifi or wirless hotspot. Though another thing I bought it for was the mp3 capabilities. (Since my iPOD mini recently gave out) There's also videos and many other things. But the only con that I will note, especially with the glossy finish on the system is that it is a fingerprint magnet. The slightest amount of oil on your fingers will create fingerprints all over. Me being pretty OCD, I have to stop every once and a while to wipe it off. But don't let that detour you from buying this excellent system. The graphics are great with the LCD screen, PS2 worthy, and Crisis Core is well worth spending the money. ^^ |

| A Synonym for Acquiesce | Yes, for example, I was an idiot and didn't charge my DS for a few months ( didn't play it either, but that was because I lost it. . .) At the last second, I decided to bring it with me onto a road trip to Ohio, it lasted me over half way there, and then the rest of the way back on one and a half charges, I had to charge my psp at about lunch and dinner every DAY, and I'd used my DS more because of Castlevania. Granted, the psp game was Crisis Core, which I sure can eat up the battery, but that really shouldn't matter. |

| I'm chocolate chip | Oh, was that your trip you were made a thread about awhile ago Stavros? Aww, you didn't end up getting The World Ends With You =\ I'd still suggest it when you get $30 again |

| A Synonym for Acquiesce | Yeah, that was the same trip. I couldn't find TWEWY, so I had to either go with nothing, or Crisis Core. So most of the way I was either playing that, or mooching off of other people, I got over half way though Portrait of Ruin on the DS. . .and played a bit of Vice City Stories, it was pretty fun, although the Phantom of the Opera was starting to get annoying after the second hour. . .or second viewing . . . |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | wow this has been quite an arugment!! Ive looked up god of war, which looks way cool and its supposed to be the best game (graphically speaking) for the psp. FF TWOTL looks cool to, as well as Disdagea or however you spell it. Ok Im sure this is a supid question, so sorry if it is, but... can you "rip" FFVII for the PSP? cause if you can (and its halfway playable) Ill buy the psp asap. I kinda feel bad for wanting it since I already have a ps2, wii, ds, gbasp, gba, gbc and gbp (although Im going to attempt to sell all the game boys minus the ds) and Im poor at the moment, not to mention KHBBS isnt even out in Japan... but im lookin for new games. im playing ffvii right now because my friends wont speak to me unless i do, and its quite a good challenge. I hope ffviicc is just as good. I just hope the PSP will b worth the money!! |

| I'm chocolate chip | Sony provides a library of classic PS1 games that can be downloaded (purchased) and played through your PSP Memory Stick, I believe, so FFVII may be one of the games available for download. But if you mean directly ripping your already created FFVII save file, then no, you'd have to start over when you get it for your PSP. |

No not my previously saved game. I dont care if I replay it, thatd be kinda cool actually. But I looked at the PS store and they dont sell the classic FFVII for the psp. If its possible to rip the game from the internet to the psp id love to try; I ripped the PC version of FFVII onto my comp (granted it didnt work, even with patches) but anything is possible!
