Explain please. Because, uh, I'm pretty sure Super Mario Galaxy, an old school game in every way, was pretty well accepted.

And this new BK game REALLY wants to make me get a 360.

I loved both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. The GBA game was a huge letdown for me. I might need to get myself a 360 for this next one, though.

Why would they ruin such a perfect platformer. It looks like the removed Kazooie's learning abilities.

Well admittedly, i was pissed at their "new look". The traditional one is still the better, they could have just altered those instead... And yes, Grunty's Revenge was a letdown... it was pretty much a slighty done up version of BK1... i still enjoy Banjo Pilot though... he heh he

Keep in mind that was on Wii, a system for young and old, who generally love platformers and easy games.
The 360 isn't much of a platforming console, and it certainly isn't Rare's forte', so we will see how well it's accepted into the Xbot crowd.

I really don't see much difference other than Banjo looking kinda square, which is understandable because he's in retirment; old and fat.

I saw the trailer. Multiple times. They aren't racing. You build the vehicles to overcome tasks, and you can build them however you want and differently to achieve the goal at hand.

Vehicles don't have to destroy the platforming element, they can in fact help it. Say you need to cross a certain tar pit to reach the door to a level you need to get to. Find the right parts and build the right vehicle to cross the tar pit. I mean seriously, it's not over yet guys. Be optimistic. Vehicles don't have to be a bad thing, if they do it right. Let's just hope they do.

To me, it seems the big grassy plain is the overworld. It's very possible that vehicles will only be used in the overworld to access areas to reach levels. I know a lot of people are concerned that the flying aspect will ruin the platforming--not necessarily. Kazooie's ability to fly, Spyro's ability to fly, and Mario's ability to fly in Mario Galaxy did not screw up the platforming. It's most likely a temporary ability, used to reach unexpected places, just like in the old Banjo games.

Hmm.... fair enough... and yeah, it looks like an amalgamation of some of the old levels, like Spiral Mountain, and im sure I saw the scarf of the snowman from Freeze Easy Peak, and also Treasure Trove Cove

True... Banjo-Kazzoie's not going to be such a huge hit on the Xbox... It may sell decently, but had it been for Nintendo, I think it would have sold very well... Plus, the fact that it is "Xbox 360 only" pissed off so many fans... I being one of them... =/

On a side note, it would seem Grunty kept her promise from Banjo-Tooie... She's back just like how she left... A skull with eyes and teeth... Her clothes still seem the same... Fortunately, they more or less kept Grunty the same... Banjo and Kazzoie, on the other hand... Huge disappointment for me... =/

I would still get the game, had I an Xbox... But... It still doesn't seem "Banjo-Kazzoie" to me... I suppose that's just the BK fan of me speaking...

Now, with the new game covered, which of the BK games did you find hardest...?

Personally, I found number one harder... The notes were single instead of in groups... Plus, Grunty was a huge pain in number 1...

What the hell is the big deal? What is so different about them that is such a huge, massive disappointment? Banjo's got a square nose, square ankles, and smaller eyes. That's about it. Oh, and they made Kazooie look like a female bird for once. I don't see what all the complaining is about. I see literally nothing substantial that would piss a fan off >_>

Actually, parts of the trailer were Racing. Certain "challenges" are just simply check-point races with other characters.

Some highlights:

-6 doors leading to different Worlds like past BK titles, around 20 Jiggies to be found per World
-The game is 80% Vehicles, and the 20% non-vehicles is usually you doing short segments of Platforming to get to the Vehicles
-No transformations, no Kazooie abilities (Kazooie's only active involvement in gameplay is wielding the Mumbo Staff which is what lets them build vehicles), Banjo increases Speed, Strength, Stamina in RPG-like lvl ups
-Grand Theft Auto-like Police system, cause too much Mayhem and they chase you down in their own vehicles, you can use Money to bribe them to not go after you
-Game is a series of objectives/missions that yield Jiggies, use Vehicles to complete the tasks (and how you build your vehicle changes how you differently you can complete the task, a Task that may have taken 10 minutes in an initial playthrough can be done in 1 minute if you build the right vehicle)
-Game was originally a complete sequel to the past 2 Games, of equal Platforming caliber, but they felt that it was too "last gen"
-By the end of the game vehicles can be 19 blocks high, long, and wide, which means you can basically build a tank the size of a house
-Only 1 of your created Vehicles can be on the Overworld at 1 time (save for when a 2nd player is present), but you can use special Blocks independent of your Vehicle creator to create things on the actual land of the levels, meaning you can set up your town with Ramps, Loops, Soccer Balls, Goals, etc. (this is what the Mario structure was in the trailer, a user-created obstacle to destroy)
-You can created different "stages" in your Vehicle for it to transform into, as seen in the trailer, you can have a Car that at the press of a Transform button will launch your Plane, which at the touch of a button you can have your Wings snap off and become a small Boat.

So, now that we have the trailer, I guess we know which one of these is true.
