| Retro 2.0 | Because they kick your ass. I'm getting a DS Lite tomorrow too, and this thread is helpful, I was thinking about getting one of the Pokemon games as my second game, mainly because I want Tetris. But my problem with the new Pokemon games is, there are so many different types of Pokemon. Like in Ruby, I was fighting a Pokemon with a leaf on its head, so I'm like "Oh okay, so you're weak against fire"... it was a fire type Pokemon. I would pick up Pokemon Diamond/Pearl in a heart beat if they had the option during a battle called "PokeDex" and it gives you info on that Pokemon, because I can't see the new kids knowing anything on the new Pokemon. I heard good things about Dragon Sword, but I haven't played a Ninja Gaiden game since Ninja Gaiden II on the NES, so I'm going to download the demo and give it a whirl (i love the Nintendo channel). I don't know, I'm going to get Tetris first, and then a game that lasts me a long time. Maybe Final Fantasy, maybe Pokemon.... I want people's opinions. PS: Sorry if I'm sounding like I'm making this thread my own, I just found this thread to pop up in a convenient time: |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ninja Gaiden: Dragon sword is fun if you love fast paced action packed game. As you know you play Ryu and his little "side-kick" Momji. But during the game she gets kidnapped and well you save her. Sure the games not very long but it is a challenge, but i recommend this game Soulja Tetris is a fun classic and it kicks ass ![]() |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | pokemon mystery dungeon 2 is friggin awesome the storyline is way longer and instead of having to get stupid friend areas they will join your team at a certain point in the game and also instead of having to battle the legendaries 10 times over to get them to join your team you just have vs them twice to get them to join your team. |

| Sentry Goin' up | Even though I prefer the PSP, I still like the DS and play it frequently. In Order you should get: The World Ends With You (Seriously, DDR-Style RPG Brawler? hell yeah!) Professor Layton and the Curious Village (The Better Brain Age) Advanced Wars: Dawn of Ruin (...) Dragon Sword Diamond (little light implements of the touch screen don't ruin the game like the shitty Ranger) Bomberman DS (It's Motherfcking Bomberman!) |

| Retro 2.0 | The only bad thing about Phantom Hourglass, is the speakers don't go loud enough to play off the awesome music. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl is horrible. Phoenix Wright games are awesome. Professor Layton has awesome cut scenes, and overall a good story, good luck trying to solve the hard puzzles though. Mario Kart DS is pretty much the best Mario Kart game ever. Now there is one game that isn't mentioned that you should get that will keep you playing forever and ever... Tetris. I got this game two days after getting my DS Lite, I'd say I clocked in over 30+ hours, and it's in my DS right now, taunting me to be played. Its really good. I want to get Contra 4, but for some reason, where I live, the game has been discontinued! I asked all of the people, and they said the company doesn't make it anymore. I look on the internet, there is no such proof... so fack! |
