Ok so.....
the first level....
I got all the way down the spike maze to the last spike tunnel, which is impossible because the guy can't run fast enough to get to the other end of the tunnel before the spike kills him.

So I went up to the apple trees. And that is just tedious :(

EDIT:

OH hell no. I just got past the apple tree part.

WTF with the spikes?

Dude what? What difficulty are you playing on? On Hard ( the default setting ) you get a save point about every two screens.

I punched my computer monitor so many times, my hand is purple. It was out of frustration. And I love having the version I had. The last boss, when he breaks the window, I didn't get the big yellow bullets. I just went about my day.
