Piquing interest into a possible one-man project in an attempt to create a "PMC" (private military corporation/contractor) mod for HL2. (HL2DM?)

Reason being is that although I find CS (Counter-Strike) to be a fun and engaging shooter, I'd like to internally release some sort of modification using various stolen skins from fpsbanana and develop some sort of mod that feels a little more "sensible" within Counter-Strike's economic environment. PMC versus PMC gameplay, rather than a group of TERRORISTS versus a group of counter-TERRORISTS. SInce there are no grounds of "good guys" or "bad guys," both PMCs can access similar armaments (rather than good guys get M4s, baddies get AKs) all at the cost of their salaries. (since warfare is their job, they get paid to kill people, right?) In addition, I'll try to guarantee that said armaments will be extremely large, allowing for no "best weapon," encouraging the player to try interesting weapons combinations. (again, the case in CS is that everyone uses either the M4, AK, or AWP.)

In addition to attempting to make a shooter with some sort of attempted accuracies in our real-world military industrial complex, this allows some ground for the development of extremely silly gameplay modes/features, i.e. rather than the usual CS gameplay involving hostages or bomb defusal, stranger concepts such as a form of dynamic capture the flag in which teams fight over a small object like a remote detonator or a suitcase containing "precious information," (or perhaps even something as liberal as a bath sponge or a rubber duck) that is fought-over from team to team (and maybe introducing some kind of "passing element" so it would be similar to American Football with firearms) or perhaps a spin on Gears of War's assassination mode where PMC operatives try to kill each-other's CO/employer.

Would anyone like to see this idea come into fruition?
