We stopped playing sometime ago and it was just me and #1 Xemnas.
I will admit this I got beat pretty bad although it was just 2-1 Capture mission, what can I say it takes some timing getting used to everything again after not playing it in months.
He left shortly after that one game so it wasn't really all that jam packed.

I have a quick question about mgs 3. I'm up to the small stream right after the cave where The Pain battle takes place. If I tranq the guards piloting the hovercrafts, the crafts crash and explode. Would such an incident count as a kill for me?

That is a good question....I don't think they would considering you didn't harm them, they technically harmed themselves.
But is there something you get for beating story mode without killing anyone?

Not unless you are planning on getting the Foxhound rank. Which is basically no kills, no continues, no alerts, done less than 5 hours, 25 saves max and 5 life bars. By 5 life bars, I mean that you can only get damaged so much, if you get 6 life bars worth of damage but did everything else you won't get the Foxhound rank. As far as I remember the only thing you get is the Stealth Camoflauge. I'd like to point out that there is another way to do it but its seems harder for me because of some areas.

As far as I remember, no it doesn't count as a kill since you didn't kill him, the landing and explosing of the hovercraft did.

Essentially yes it does count as a kill.
Just like in MGs4 when you shoot down a helicopter or blow up a tank it counts as a kill.
Only unmanned machines don't count.
If we're talking about MGs3 that essentially means any and all enemies you come across have to be tranqu'd or not killed at all, sneak past them if need be.

Yes Dogen you get a rank I believe for beating the game without killing anyone, being spotted, using any rations, using any special items (stealth camo & bandanna) or dying.
This you can do on any difficulty but the higher the difficulty the higher up your rank.
For MGs3 that would be Foxhound i believe.

It's essentially the same for every MGS game.
