Seeing as how they are two of the most popular fighters in Melee, they are almost guaranteed in Brawl.

Who sid that they were the most popular? Marth was *technically*the best character because of his disconnected hitbox, so I can see him being popular. But Roy has so many setbacks that he wouldn't be THAT popular. ..

But maybe you're right! I just want some proof. . .

Marth, as a character in the Fire Emblem series, is really popular in Japan and is popular in Melee as a universally good character in all regions despite a lot of people not really knowing who he is or what game he comes from

Roy, as a character in Melee, became really popular with the American audiences, also considering his game was one of the first few to even be translated and released outside of Japan

I found marth almost...cheap, the fact his forward and b could get him back up onto the edge so easily was just to unfair, the fact he has two ways of meteor spiking people down, his wavedashing is spectacular, his sword is extremely powerful and his arial is amazing. His only disadvantage is he has no projectiles, and thats nothing compared to what he has, on top of that he has counter...I really hope if he is in the next one he is more balanced.

Marth is really popular so he will probably stay in, roy, since he is a clone, will either be dropped or redone

I hope they reveal some more characters soon, or at least explain that This World mode... It looks really interesting

Sakurai seems to be pretty late with todays update, if there is even one after the massive amounts of win yesterday. Hell, todays update could be a turd item and I'd be happy because of yesterdays.
