Default Dragon Age: Origins
The game is quite close to being released so I think this is an appropriate time to start a discussion thread.
Dragon Age: Origins is a role playing RPG developed by BioWare(Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate, Star Wars: KOTOR) and is for the Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and Playstation 3(their first PS3 game).
In the game you are given the choice of developing your character throughout the story in several ways.
You choose from one of the basic fighting classes(The Rogue, The Warrior and The Mage) and you can upgrade later on to one of the Specialized Classes.
The game is set in a dark fantasy world.
There is a morality system in the game, which will effect how the story progresses and how the other characters and the game world will react/change depending on your actions.

I've heard about it and even thought about buying it but after a game like Demon's Souls, I feel like getting a break from RPGs.

Looks pretty nice.

I'd like to take a break from Shooter games and play some RPGs.
Just need to get the new Ratchet and Clank and then I'll buy this, Demon's Souls and maybe Elder Scrolls IV.

it's bioware so it's bound to be good

I want for PC but this PC can't run it.

Was going to get for the 360 but few weeks before it comes out 360 disc errors no games work.(It happens around Dragon Age) Any other time I would have cared but it had to be around this game<.<

Bought this for PC today. Picked PC over Xbox because I liked the idea of having a more challenging gameplay option and the graphics are prettier.

Plus, I'm pretty sure it was developed for PC.

So for someone who's only ever played action games on a console, I'm finding this kinda challenging. Micro-managing party members, pausing battles to reorganise attacks, running around like a bitch while a boss has me targeted so my team members can attack.

I'm still in the introductory stages and I've played it for about four hours+. And the character creation tool is fantastic. That alone gives you enough replayability.

And might I add, it's fucking beautiful looking. Is anyone else playing this?

I still have wait and its killing me;-;

Only good thing about waiting is that Black Friday deal. I like how my 360 fucks up thought right when Dragon Age is about to come out. Any other time it I wouldn't have given shit.

Can't wait till next year so I can my kick ass PC>< and PS3.
