Default Trying to get into a new game series

Alright since I got bored with KH 358/2 Days and completed it 3 times completely, and now that my favorite DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) game has failed me, I want to get into a new game series.
I want to mostly go for PS3, PSP, or DS, Or Wii. Any game will be fine, I'll take a look at what you have to say, and I'll decide.

I like RPG's, Fighting, and Rhythm games so if any of you know any games in those categories that fits into any of the game systems above, please post them here.

I'm willing to try any new game.

There aren't too many series to reccomend because right now it's mostly individual single Original Properties. At least as far as the systems you stated. If you can play Gamecube games on your Wii then I have some good ones to reccomend.

I don't give a shit about your favourite genres; I'm recommending the Devil May Cry series to you. Play them in chronological order; i.e. 3, 1, 4, 2. DMC 1 - 3 are all PS2 games. DMC4 is available on PS3.

Tekken is a good fighting game series. The 6th one was released recently, I think. The older ones are for PS1/PS2 and the new one is for PS3 and Xbox360.

If you like RPG's i highly recommend Fallout 3. Great game, tons to do, HIGHLY addicting with a good 60+ hours of gameplay. I'm on my 4th playthrough at the moment, never get sick of it.

I second this like you wouldn't believe.

But, yeah, you'd do well to take a look at the thread that already exists for this purpose.

I've played Devil May Cry 3 Special edition and beat it, but yeah I did like the game overal, it was fun and addicting, so I should give that a try?

Yes. Definitely. IMO, DMC3 is the best out of all of the games. DMC1 is its prequel. Play it. It's a game that set very high standards, hence why I wanted to play DMC2 so badly. However, I wouldn't be too keen on playing DMC2 - it's debatable whether it's canon since it basically doesn't draw on the main storyline at all. Play it last. But yeah, DMC1 - play it. Love it. You learn what became of Vergil and is like the base for the questions that DMC4 asks about whether Vergil is really dead or not.

What. No. You should never subject someone to Devil May Cry 2. The other 3 are damn good, though.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. That is all. Yeah, they're action adventures, but they're so good. It's like playing through a movie.

Agreed. Horrible game. You don't even need to play it, the storyline from the other 3 doesn't even apply when it comes to that game. The rest are awesome good ol' hack n' slash games though. Play them and enjoy.

pfffttt Repetitive crap. Bash the square button and you're done.

I'd suggest you play Resistance series for PS3 and PSP along with Fallout and Killzone. >>

All great games. Also Ico series is pretty interesting. The Last Guardian is coming to the PS3 pretty soon. :P Also look at my signature. uh huh. you know what I'm saying.
