Rep Power: 8 ![]() Level: 32 EXP: | I made a thread about this a year or two ago but it's been so long that I'm making a new one. Cities XL. The new PC game that makes me forget SimCity ever existed. Edit: I have no freakin' idea why the text in this video is French. When I watched the same video on youtube it was in English. Of course that is just the launch trailer and doesn't actually portray the real game play, but you can look those videos up on your own. Pretty much this is the game: "A city-building simulation computer game developed by Monte Cristo, which has prior development experience in City Life. It was ... released on October 8, 2009. The game allows players to play online and interact with others on massive persistent planets, and to work together by trading resources or building blueprints in order to satisfy the needs of city inhabitants. Players can also play in a single-player mode." - Wiki Description The part that really piqued my interest a year or so ago was the part that I always wanted to see in a SimCity or The Sims game, is the fact that you can travel to other cities and work together just like a real global economy. There's so much you can do and so much detail that goes into it. I have yet to pick up my own copy but once my new laptop comes in, please believe I will. Looks great.
