I always use the default controller because I think they are pretty good( I think the developpers are doing a pretty good job,especially for FPS games on the PSP). If I change them.. I get messed up some times.

I can't think of a game I used custom controls to play right now , but I'l post it if I remember some. Well, for Kingdom hearts 358/2 days , I changed the controls to type 2( L and R for camera) I don't think it counts since the controls were already set up

I normally use default controls, but I'll often switch the camera controls to inverted. I changed the controls on Devil May Cry to match the controls of Devil May Cry 4, so I wouldn't keep jumping instead of attacking.

Hmmm never get the chance to play DMC4 ( I played the 1,2, and 3rd) thanks for the info. I get used to "master" controls for a game after a good 30mins.. soo it shouldnt bother me to keep the default.

It depends. For the most part I use the default controls, but sometimes I'll find them too uncomfortable and change them around (See: Megaman Zero).

Only game I ever changed controls for was CoD:WaW.
Switched prone and knife to make it easier to drop shot

It really depends on the game. I've customized my controls for a lot of games but usually I'll go by the default.

For the vast majority of games, I change only one thing; the camera controls. I hate pushing the joystick up and watching as the camera goes down, so I usually invert that. Other than that, I think that I typically leave things the way they are; the only exception would be TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, as I raped the fuck out of those controls.

I try to keep controls similar between games, especially driving games. I've also tried tweaking controls in third person shoots b/c after playing say MGS4 and then going back to uncharted I'm lost.

yah i use the defaults, unless i have been playing some game quite a lot, then i might be used to said's game controlls, and switch the controlls. but that's only if it's a new game i haven't played, but yeah.

in kh, i know i always have to switch the camera's though. lol.

I do the opposite. I don't invert the camera controls and I increase the sensitivity.
And if the weapons are fired with the R1 button, I change to the R2 button.

Also, I turn off the Sixaxis motion controls.

Well.. I have to change the sensivity for FPS games sometimes because my mouse is too fast(Habu) and because I am used to play console games =P

I use default controls most of the time. Unless the sequel to a game has a new default (like GTA4 did), I'd customize it back to the old way.

The only game I changed the controls, was in Halo 3, I switched it to bumper jumper.
