I got the GameCube version at launch.
They're not the same >:( Wild World has wi-fi and lots more personalization and better holidays etc. etc. etc....it just doesn't have the NES games :/

It's exactly the same thing as Wild World except it has a new tiny little "town square" with useless commodities.

Fact!

Of course the GC one was better, you got a free memory card, who doesn't like free stuff? I rented wild world. Yeah glad I didn't buy it. I have done everything on WW, except get the barber shop as my shop, don't know how to get it to be honest.

Like every other Wii peripheral, you make it work with one game, and it's apparently good enough for mass market anyway.
