Haha, I just got done with a session of COD4 so this is good news. I'm guessing Infinity Ward is handling the development for this one. They did a great job with COD4 so I'll definitely be looking out for this one.

So much for that Sci-Fi endeavour then (unless that's something completely different from CoD altogether)...

Wasn't a fan of CoD4 all round (the single player was surprisingly strong, but i found the multiplayer quite tedious in all honesty), so unless some major changes are mixed into the bowl, i can't see myself caring too much about this...

hopefully for the wii version its as good as the 360 and ps3 version. my friend really wanted COD4 but couldnt cause he only has a wii.

I just hope the multiplayer is more awesome than the last. Give me more or just better guns+more or better perks=me playing it for 20+days once again (if you look at my stats for the game I think it said 20+ days for me then my dad also had 20+. Me and him just rotated on that game an dnow we switched to rotating on Resistance 2.

Ah, I can't wait for this. This time I won't make the mistake of getting it for my PS3. Instead, I'll purchase the 360 version. Oh, next fall can't come soon enough.

There was no mistake getting it for the PS3. Hell i loved my PS3 version. The game itself took part of my life , but don't worry no sticky substances was involved.

I'm pretty psyched for this.

I was rather pissed when it was announced that the new CoD (World At War) wasn't going to be a modern era shooter, because I think CoD4 was just so well done, and as awesome as WWII shooters are, I think there's just too many. Definitely glad that they're doing another one, assuming Infinity Ward is handling the development.

After going on hiatus from the game for a while, I found that I could no longer get into online games on the PS3 version. Needless to say, I'm not taking my chances. I enjoyed it immensely, but that "DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS" got to me.

Yeah, IW takes the reigns of this iteration of COD. Treyarch will get the game after this. You should really give WaW a chance. It's actually just as fun as COD4.

What the shit makes you think this was a PS3 thing? It's Infinity Ward's servers. That isn't PS3 exclusive, my friend.

He most likely gets a better connection on his 360 so thats why he choose to go with that. If it does say "Downloading Game Settings" that usually means your connection isn't to great at that moment.

The problem only began to show itself a few months ago in August. Before that, I could connect just fine. Also, joining parties on the PS3 was a pain.
