Hope 3rd person shooters fan will like it.

I saw the leaked footage. Not really that big of a deal.

And if it's anything like it was as a glitch in Nazi Zombies, third person will be garbage. Looks pretty similar too (like the spectator mode camera).

Of course, I'm not really concerned about third person in a FPS.

Beat me to it. Generally I would prefer a third person feature in a game. But when it comes to playing third person in a FPS, that wouldn't work out too well imo.

(btw: confirmation link Modern Warfare 2 will feature third-person mode for playlists)

I seriously don't get some of you who are whining about this.
If you don't like it then avoid playing in Third Person, because it's optional and limited to a few game modes.
And it won't be unbalanced because people who play in Third Person won't be able to play with people in First Person.

Nobody's really whining about it though. We're just saying we don't particularly care for third person in a FIRST person shooter and we're wondering why they would include such a feature. There's nothing to whine about really.

Normally I'd say "don't make such a big deal out of this, it's an M-rated shooting game, it's supposed to have that much violence and scenes of massacring" but I won't say that for this.
I found it a bit shocking, but also impressive. Call me a sick bastard if you want to.
