If you havent played this game I highly suggest it. It's a puzzle type game with many brain teasers and such. However it is still a fun and beautiful game to play.

Oh and btw. This game was such a hit, there is already a movie in the works. However, for some reason, they decided to go live action. Why? I like it just the way it is. The animation is beautiful :)

If you can solve puzzles, especially some fairly difficult puzzles, by all means go for it. But if you're just going to use a guide, don't bother, it ruins the game.

Yeah, that's one of three teaser trailers for the first movie in the series. There's actually a movie thread for it though in the movies section in the forums.

Sort of. In all of the games there's a continuing mystery that makes the plot interesting, but that doesn't really apply to the actual gameplay. The game itself is a puzzle game, and you solve puzzles to continue the story.

The first game was great because it was a very different kind of game. I loved the music soundtrack and I thought Don Paulo was ace. I was surprised about the twist in the game, though. I never would have guessed. :/ Can't wait for the second game and the third. Layton rules.

If you are going to get this game, do not get it from GameStop. Everywhere else is selling it for 29.99 USD whereas GameStop is selling it for $34.99.

Wish I knew that before I preordered. Maybe I can cancel my order tomorrow when it comes out? lol... : (

So I went to good ole gamestop to pick up my copy along with batman and another game today, and it wasn't there -.-

The chick I know that works there said that they didn't get it yet even though it was supposed to have come in yesterday. =<<
