KHI's Farmville Festivus
This is no ordinary meeting though, folks. This is going to be an occasion better than Ocktoberfest, Beerfest, festering cunts, Uncle Fester, and the Newbury Award for Children's Fiction COMBINED. We hope to acquaint ourselves "irl" as well as have a good time, so stiff drinks will be involved. Come surprise us with your Robert Downey Jr.-esque knowledge of cocktails and alcohol and we will share trade secrets. What the fuck have you been doing with your life? See how our khi hotshots can handle each other in the same room. Gaming will most likely be involved too. In fact we'd be stupid to NOT game as we all know I won't let you leave with your genitalia because I am a sempergames fuhrer of the 3rd reich, capiche?
Yes this is absolutely serious. There are plenty of chums here I would like to meet, drink with, give a firm manly slap on the ass to (in that comrade non gay way), and simply to get to know in person. This will be the biggest meeting of introverts and creeps since my first birthday party when we gave the invitations to a serial killer dressed up as a mailman.
The Deal Where
We plan to meet somewhere in Wyoming. Hence "Farmville." Why-oming? Heh I'm glad you asked. Reasons:
1. It's Wyoming. No one can hear you party because there's nobody there. GET IT. It's a kingdom hearts joke. NOBODY. lol so RANDUM xD
But seriously partying there in a lodge with hot tubs would be awesome, and would probably be cheaper because who the fuck wants to party in Wyoming. Plus I have family there so they could probably find a good deal or something. And we're gamers when the fuck do gamers go outside.
2. We at #junes have often thought of what the most ideal point would be to have it geographically. A happy medium. Eventually we just said fuck that and went with it because there will probably never be an optimal venue.
3. Because of the lack of everything, any place we finally decide on going to should be simple enough to find. Wyoming is the largest small town in the country.
4. There's nobody there theres nobody there theres nobody there. Probably won't get busted for any reason we might be otherwise. snicker snicker
Despite these coolfresh (get it) reasons, this is still subject to change.
When
Summer (2010) is when it will happen. Probably late summer. There is no set date at the moment as this is still the brainstorming phase.
How
Start budgeting! We don't know how much this might cost, but starting a savings is not a bad idea. I will start one myself (once I get a job and student loans arent as heavy lol) and this thread will be sort of an account update doodad.
An idea: Think of what exactly you want to bring, and write it down, calc up the cost, and bring more than that. Who knows exactly is going to happen because we have some busters in this tightknit community.
Who
It was myself and a few others' idea, so we'll probably hosting.
This is KHI exclusive of course! Even then though, it will be limited to invitations based on myself and a committee of big-shooters (aka #junes). We do want as many of you as possible!
What's going to happen and how long
Not sure how long this shindig will last, but I am thinking 2 or 3 days. A weekend would be good for this. Perhaps, one day for intro and something real special, a day of prep for that night which the FESTIVUSPOCALYPSE WILL HAPPEN, and the next day to regret everything we just did.
Maybe have a grill out. I like grill outs. Mmmm. Yeah.
The special thing I think would be real awesome is for several of us at KHI to do its very own "Let's Play".... of Kingdom Hearts. In other words, we will play and complete Kingdom Hearts as fast as we can with commentary. Anyone who has recording equipment for both sound and video would be AWESOME and would help infinitely. If this works it will be uploaded and posted here for all to see.
What to be sure to bring
Each person will have to bring at least two things. Food and alcohol (obviously those not of age get it some other way or not at all). All you prudes and haters leave! This is a fucking party! We are getting fucking crunkitty super dee duper up your pooper ass drunk. Celebrate life, faggots!
In conclusion sports fans, discuss here. There's not much more I can intro on. We just want some good old fashioned fun and to make some gatdam memories that someone else will remember.
There are dreams at #junes, and this is one of them.

Wyoming is out. Everyond at #junes has been working hard to find the best solution to compatibility and prices and carpooling and its really quite the surprise to see so much activity so fast. I can tell you all have an erection for this idea! You should feel these nipples!

- We have two people who are over 21, so that's some drinks to go around. I think I can pack the shot glasses that we have (I think we have like, 3-4 sets of 6 shot glasses) in my house.

We want to bring in our Resident Johnny Stooge from Australia but it will cause him to be broke. So we have started a fund where you can donate to help him fly to America. Any amount to donate will be fine. Please help make this a success
