I'll usually do it, just as long as the person is five or so feet behind me. However, the only time I let myself go out of the way to do it is when there's a fairly attractive young lady behind me or some I'm talking to, not that it will ever work.

I mean, if someone's close, I'll at least hold it open from inside to let them in, but if it's an older person/cute girl, I'll stand outside with the door open, just cause I'm that nice.

Currently playing: Okami | Re: Do you hold the door for the person behind you? Most of the time I do. Strangers definitely.
At school however, if they're about 20ft away, I'm letting it close. Right behind me, I'll push open the door a little wider and keep my hand on it until the person behind me get their hand on it.
Just trying to show some politeness.

I always hold it for the person behind me. Sometimes I think it is a bad habit cause they could be like 10-15 feet away and yet I hold it for them. Doesn't matter the gender either cause I don't see to many guys getting lucky cause they held a door (which almost everyone does) for a girl.
