Default Hurricane Season
So now I have another one to worry about. Ike.

Of course usually around this time is where the storms reach their peak in hurricane season. Storms suck. While there may be a degree of excitement, there is more stress and inconvenience to go along with it.

So anyway, decided to make a thread to track and discuss all the storms and so on that may have an impact on our beloved KHI members =p

Edit: New Hurricane Season 2009

The 2009 Hurricane Season has officially started (June 1st).

Here's what we can look out for this year:

According to NOAA the 2009 Atlantic Hurricane season will have a 70 percent chance of having nine to 14 named storms, of which four to seven could become hurricanes, including one to three major hurricanes (Category 3, 4 or 5).

Hurricanes spawn tornadoes.
Hurricane Season sucks more. Lol.

If a hurricane comes this way..I'm going to have to record everything for the insurance company...serial numbers...pictures....ugh :/

That place is like the 4th of July for hurricanes. :/

lol thats where I am. Miami.

I've dealt with the really bad (like Andrew) and the not so bad. Just about every year is a hustle with getting everything done for the storms. So much goes into it. It sucks.

Yeah tornadoes suck too. We tend to get bad storms period here in FL. Though we might not get the high cat tornadoes, we still get them.

Lightning capital / thunderstorm capital of the nation etc. etc.

Hurricanes just add to the weather load we have here lol >.> but in all honesty, I prefer the weather here more than what other states have to go through. At least we can prepare mostly for Hurricanes. It still sucks though.

Hurrican Season is a wonderous time of magical delight, when pathetic fools all across the southeast United States are blown to smitherines by the unstoppable might of a furious tempest whose wrath can contend with that of hell.
I love to watch vidoes of people being blown away by them, especially windsailers.
