everythings better live and on stage, no?

this stage update almost guarantees an animal crossing character as playable. otherwise theyd have no appearances to back up the stage, except for an assist trophy or something, but they still wouldnt make a stage without a supported playable character.

TOM NOOK FTW?

god the gfx are so much better this time around. look at DKs fur....

Though that was true for Melee, I don't see how an Animal Crossing character could be playable. There's virtually no moveset for any given character. An Assist Trophy on the other hand is much more likely. I cold see Resetti going berserk on someone.

I couldnt see them putting in an AC character as a playable character, but theres a good chance therell be an Assist Trophy AC character

Just because it has a stage doesn't mean it needs a playable character, the Animal Crossing franchise is a little small and considering how expansive they made the stage to include all means of Animal Crossing related characters and events, the Stage alone is enough representation, and a character addition is not warranted

Tom Nook is in the background of the Smashville stage, if he was a playable character they wouldn't have him sit around in the background of a stage

I'd like to have some way to import your town from AC:WW. I think that would be cool, but probably impossible to do.

Animal Crossing Character:

B (Golden Sling shot): Fires a sling shot

Up B (Golden Rod): Cast rod and can magically grab onto thin air and pulls player up

Forward B (Golden Axe): Swings axe at opponents

Down B (Golden Shovel): Digs hole and places pit fall trap, players get stuck and reamin vunerable to attacks

Special (Mr. Resetti): (I'm being totally serious here) Animal Crossing character poses then the screen goes blank and everyone is believed to think the game reseted and then the game shows all the characters (the ones fighting) in their fighting postion and Resetti comes and attack the players (not the animal crossing character that started the special) while lecturing them

i thought about it before already, this is from the forum i mentioned
