Sakurai has already stated that not everyone from Melee will be coming back, even characters from the original SSB are not necessarily guaranteed to return

Besides it's fully-charged power, the difference between Roy's B attack and Marth's is negligible, so the sole defining difference between them is an ability that can never be used in a practical sense, making Roy's B attack in no way a reason for him to stay =\

In the game, I saw Roy as the superior, at least in my hands. Both Roy and Mart had that super guard move that owned that hammer item, though.

Also, they better make Pikachu better than they did in SSBM. I ruled with Pikachu in SSB on the N64, but when I get to the SSBM, pikachu seems...meh.
