Interesting theory. I didin't actually read through the whole thing but if Toon Zelda does indeed have a moveset logged in there like the others do then it would be completely possible there could an image render. Along with Dixie and Mewtwo and such as well.

Edit: If their FS's are Landmasters i will laugh!

Heh, it does, though I just meant in relation to this. I mean, I don't think many people will be hurt if they won't be able to see images of Roy or Toon Zelda, which shouldn't exist in the first place.

I was surprized to hear such a thing from IGN, since I usually understand their point of view. I've yet to read the actual article. I just read their "The 10 Non-Nintendo characters that shoulda made the cut", and it seems most of what they said seemed reasonable, though mainly Megaman being in first place. The others were nice to think about, most most of which I wouldn't expect.

Yeah true. It would be nice to see them, but I don't really care that much.

As far as many other things go, too much wishful thinking/optimism (or even any at all) can lead to some pretty unfavorable outcomes later.

There was another possibility I didn't think about.

Those characters....Toon Zelda..Roy...Mewtwo, etc....
could be characters that are really hard to get and really deep inside the game.
You know, like Game & Watch was.

The characters so far have been relatively easy to get. Either automatically unlock them by playing through SSE or completing bland challenges in VS mode.

There's always the possibility.

EDIT: Except my dreams were immediately crushed because now I realized they don't have attacks or FS listed...

Well going through numerous pages of posts is no fun.
As for the search feature, I dunno. I guess it's easier to be safe and post it rather than search for it.

Also Dogen, there's also the matter of after you unlock Wolf you received a "You've unlocked all the characters!" message.

Also, hacking Melee allowed for Giga Bowser, Master Hand, etc. to be playable, as well as unlocking (though you couldn't actually play on it) a hidden Fire Emblem stage never finalized

So hacking the game to see them may be possible...I doubt as playable, but if they're listed in the ISO there may be a character render in there.

As much as I would love that it is unlikely. If you go back and look next to their names are the sizes of the characters' files and all the characters taht were not added are relatively small compared to those that were. Chances are that all the hackers will be able to get are probably a character render at most.
