Whore... I don't think it takes much skill to use Roy or Marth that way. Try using his speed an counter attacks to your advantage.

Marth has the ULTIMATE spike. Best ranged spike, quick, and sends down diagonally vs the straight down plummeting spike. Marth is absolutely powerful.

I liked playing as Roy a bit more than Marth... Dunno why, just did.

Favorite character to use would have to be either Falco or Young Link...

Spike vs Meteor Smash (what a long topic I hate to repeat an explanation >.<)

A spike sends a character straight towards a direction, preferably diagonally down rather than straight down.

BTW, I still say Marth has the best spikes. His sword (I adore swords XD) has quick speed and range. It can spike quite well and a majority of the time sends the character flying down diagonally.

My friends argue Donkey Kong has the best spikes. Just because he has one of the most spikes doesn't mean he has the best.
