So, you all found TerraOnline Emuserver alright, eh? That's where we all go to play SSB, so if you ever want to set-up a game with someone at KHI, ask them on the forums and meet there

Also, to make the game less laggy, when on the server lists window, go down to the bottom where it says "Connection Type" and change it from "Good" to "Excellent"

Do you happen to have any way to fix the graphical problems, or is that just an unavoidable issue with the emulator?

Well, that made the screen bigger, but that's all it did. All the same problems are there.

Well, I suck at explaining things, but I'll try. Including pictures will help a lot.

Well, in the opening, there's this problem with the video kinda freezing around the edges. There's also some really noticeable issues in the character intros of the opening, such as this, this and this.

In gameplay there's the problem of the bottom getting cut off, not letting me see the damage percentage, along with the edges mentioned earlier.

The bubble shields and Fox's reflector shield are very distorted in appearance.

Some things are almost nonexistent. For example, you can't see Link's bomb when he holds it while facing right. It also does not start flashing red once it's about to explode. Samus Aran's charge blast does not grow in size. Instead, it stays at the tiny size it starts at, yet still charges. And there are times when the cursor will disappear at the character select screen. I'd take pictures of those problems, but well...yeah...

And since I haven't played around with this ROM a whole lot, I'm willing to bet that there are plenty of other problems.

These problems in specific are completely normal. All of us experience these ones, but you easily get used to it

You can problem ignore this because you can always just skip the opening. I think maybe this might have to do with you playing the game on Vista, because so far all of us have been playing it on XP

I had this a couple times as well, what I did to fix it was go to "Graphics Plugin" and change the screen size from 640x480 to the default size and then change it back to 640x480 and the bottom of the screen should be fixed.

I don't have Vista. I'm using XP as well.

I'm afraid that didn't work.

I wasn't sure if that was possible or if it was my card's fault, I'll do that.

Information about directx3d.exe

Is that true?^

No way! The Pokémon Trainer has finally arrived. And it looks like he doesn’t do his fighting directly.
Instead, he uses the three Pokémon with him—Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard—to do the fighting for him.

****ING SWEET

From my guesses, since the Trainer is standing at the sidelines, you control the Pokemon directly.
As in. You control Squirtle. He attacks, jumps, blocks, has a Super Smash Attack, etc. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.

Is... Is he issuing commands?!

He needs to use his three Pokémon to fight. So the only ones who fight directly are the Pokémon.

I guess you could say using this character is like playing three for the price of one!

And the Pokémon Trainer uses a special move called Pokémon Change to switch between them.

<Down Special Move: Pokémon change>

http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/chara...er_070813f.jpg

Good job, Ivysaur! Come back!

http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/chara...er_070813g.jpg

The returning Pokémon tags the next Pokémon.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/chara...er_070813h.jpg

Charizard! I choose you!

They swap out in a set order: Squirtle→Ivysaur→Charizard.

They all share the same damage meter, so they don’t recover from damage during Pokémon Change. But they also have another stat, which you might call stamina.

If you keep fighting with the same Pokémon, or if you change them out too often, it’s not so good for the Pokémon.

If you want to be a good Pokémon Trainer, you’ll need to learn these kinds of ins and outs.
Holy shit! This is awesome and totally unexpected. I can't wait to play as Charizard!

EDIT: Dear God, I can only imagine the Final Smash!
