Wait are you saying the IKK was always in the realm of darkness or always at the Gathering?

It technically wasn't at The Gathering Place, since the Gathering was a concept vid, so basically, the Realm of Darkness

The IKK existed in the Realm of Darkness just like the KK in the Realm of Light until it got it's owner.

If these Keyblades have been in those two Realms and if they were actually created by somebody, will probably be cleared in BBS.

How Sora holds Way to Dawn. But it reminded me... Sora holds it in his left hand, Ven holds his keyblade in his left hand. Sora holds it backwards, Ven holds his backwards. Sora is using WtD, Ven picks up WtD in The Gathering. I don't think there's much of an implication, but I just found it amusing when it dawned on me.

There are no other implications in the additions, so it's safe to assume that this is what Nomura is talking about. In other words, though, it practically confirms that Terra assigned Riku the Kingdom Key. (So he would obviously be confused since Sora, who is not the one he chose, comes to him with the Kingdom Key)

I started thinking about Terra and the Kingdom Key. It has the King's seal as a keychain, and so does the Inverse Kingdom Key. We've always taken that for granted as a mark for Disney, but I don't think it's an accident. The game will be dealing with chasers. The definition of a chaser is one who embosses or engraves metal, so let's assume, for all intents and purposes, that this does in fact mean that a Chaser is someone who creates keyblades (I honestly think this is it, based on intuition and the fact that Nomura said this game would go into the keyblade's origin). So, since it has the King's seal, and he is their Master in this case, Terra, Aqua, and/or Ven must have created the Kingdom Key and Inverse Kingdom Key, or maybe, as I believe, Mickey himself created the two keyblades. Now why would they create those two keys? Simple. What was their purpose in the first game? To seal Kingdom Hearts, of course. And it all adds up. If they intend to do the same in BbS, they'd probably seal off Kingdom Hearts so Xehanort could not get it. That would basically mean that someone, Mickey or TAV, would have to go into Kingdom Hearts, into the Dark Realm with the Inverse KK, and lock it from the inside as well as the one using the KK on the outside. Now, where is the Inverse KK in KH1? In the Dark Realm.

Mickey has his own keyblade, the Starseeker. Two keyblades are required to seal KH, as told by the prophecy (read in the room for Hollow Bastion before the final fight in KH). So why couldn't Mickey just use that keyblade? Well, it clearly needed to be that specific pair, they are inverses after all. Let's say that Mickey lost the Starseeker somehow. If a wielder is simply chosen to wield a keyblade, then how did he know the Inverse KK was in the Dark Realm? He was there, when someone went in KH to seal it off from Master Xehanort using the Inverse Kingdom Key. The only problem with this is that I'm still wondering if Mickey has some sort of Amnesia, as, even though he was in BbS, he did not recognize the name Xehanort when he met AtW, and he has not mentioned the events, nor has he done anything like "LOL Sora, I made the KK and you're using it, weird, amirite?!"

However... it might just be a case of him not telling the others for one reason or another. He knew Sora's name at the end of KH, and yet he had never met him before. Terra "assigned" the keyblade to Riku, one of the two boys on Destiny Islands, and Mickey, who would also be a chaser considering that he's TAV's master, might have been there to witness it. I believe, though, that Mickey, upon seeing that Riku was becoming evil, reassigned it to Sora (this is in consideration of the fact that the alignment of the wielder does not constitute how the keyblade chooses, it can be used for light or dark, and yet the KK switched from Riku to Sora for that very reason). Sound sketchy?

I jsut wanted to point out, mikey could have maybe learned sora's name from another caracter, like yensid or something like that...just a though

Also about the keyblades. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that keyblades are assigned to people for certain tasks. You're right about the keyblade being assinged to riku, then transfered to Sora, even thought the keyblade could have still been wilded by Riku. But i beleive the task the keyblade was assigned was to find someone in this case who was going to save the world, not destroy it..and Riku no longer became a reliable candidate.
The reason why i say this is because it seems to me like any keyblade that's used for evil, or darkness, looks very different from keyblade that are made of good and light. Mx and DS keyblade are very unique, so im assuming that maybe a keyblade from the realm of light can be used for good and not evil in the realm of light, but a keyblade from the realm of darkness would be better applied to evil in the realm of light. THe reverse can also be applied, if you take a keyblade from the realm of light into the realm of darkness, it would have a chaotic effect in the realm of darkness, while a keyblade from the darkness realm would be applied for good. There are exceptions to this of course, as mikey's keyblade is from the realm of darkness. But if Mikey is a keyblade master, like you've been saying, and i quite agree, then it would make sense that mikey would have the power to control any keyblade no matter where it originates from and no matter what realm he finds himself at the time.

This is all mind boggling i mean i don't even know man. I just can't wait for the games to come out and when they do will everything be cleared up? Will there still be another huge gap in the story line...another enemy that is higher or more powerful than anything we can imagine...like the creator of the creator of the keyblade? Everyone has a master

i dont understand how the a certain model of keyblade makes the master, a master shoudl wield any keyblade

and if there is a reverse KK there most likely a reverse every other keyblade in the game
