Thoughts on Nomura Interviews

I've been reading the Nomura interviews for the past few days looking for clues and one thing keeps popping up...is he giving away too much info. I mean in the past we've had to think about these but i still don't know if that means there going to be released soon or that he's giving away too much info even tho its good. It's different and i want to know other peoples thoughts.

Yeah because we all know he already talked about the DS, MX, what's Aqua role in BBS, what's Mickey's role in BBS, what's the growth system, how is Ven related to Roxas, how is Terra related to Riku (though this one's obvious), why's Terra working with Maleificent. If he answerd any of those questions then yeah he's giving away to much. But the fact that all we know is ? then I don't really call it giving away to much....//

i think nomura is pretty good when it comes to interviews. i mean he doesn;t give away the game and makes you think about what might happen. if it weren't for this websites like these wouldn't be as popular.

Yeah, Nomura is pretty good on these interviews. He gives away info, but just enough to get people anxious and speculating about what some of this info means. It keeps up the suspense.

Like the others already said, Nomura is good on these interviews. I don't think he is giving away too much info There are some mysteries that aren't clear and Nomura wants the fans to think what would happen in the game based in what he said in the interviews.

Anyways, Nomura can sometimes make things confusing...

If we directly translate "Way to the Dawn", "dawn" means "in-between night and daytime", so does that mean that Keyblade is from the In-between World? In other words, this means the Keyblades that Sora, King Mickey and Riku wield represent the Worlds of Light, Dark and In-between?

Well, if I have to say where they belong, it's just as you said. But the name of "Way to Dawn" doesn't have to mean that. This name came from the scene at the end of Riku's story in KH:COM that suggested which path he would walk on, where he said "The road to dawn."

VI - Could you please give an explanation for the new keyblade "Way to the Dawn" that Riku obtained and the keyblade Kairi has as well as what the conditions for using a keyblade are?

There isn't necessarily one keyblade for the dark side and one for the light side, just as many as there exist people with qualified hearts. Concerning the conditions to wield one, at this stage, "Those with strong hearts" is the only obvious one. However, less obvious conditions still exist and there are still plans for an opportunity to reveal those. Riku's "Way to the Dawn" and Kairi's keyblade are naturally the same type of keyblade as Sora's. However there is no particular explanation for the Soul Eater's transfer and occurrence, as well as Riku's handing it to Kairi. When there isn't a normal process of acquisition, I think its ok to think there is some deeper meaning there.

Personally, I think that Nomura just enjoys screwing with us on the interviews.
The way he puts things allows such room for open ended thought, it begets more questions than answers. But that's a good thing.

At first, I was a little surprised that he would reveal the 14th member's existence so early on, but by doing so, he has let the fans get so worked up about having to know who she (maybe he) is, that it will probably up the incentive to buy 358/2 Days.
It may seem like he is revealing too much information, but he is just leaking enough to keep the consumers interested and caught in a state of suspense.

how is Terra related to Riku if you dont mind me asking rpg master. u said its easy to see how Terra is related to Riku... and i dont see how..

the only thing Nomura hinted about their relations is that Sora, Riku, Kairi, are meant to signify sky, land, and sea while the names Ven(tis), Terra, and Aqua signify wind, earth and water. each element corresponding with a character.

and two other things i want to know.

1) why did Terra's eyes go from blue to a yellowish color after seeing the conjured up kingdom hearts in the secret movie sunset horizon from KH2FM+ ?

and...

2) are Roxas and Ven related somehow? it sounds impossible being that Roxas was created when Sora became a heartless. but you never know. the reason i ask is because TGS announced that Koki Uchiyama (voice of Roxas) would also be the voice of Ven in the Japanese version of BBS. is it just because they were too cheap to hire someone else? or is it on purpose?

if anyone has answers. please message me or instant message me or respond to this thread. rpg master i wait for your answer because i would truly like to know how it is that u find it so obvious that Terra and Riku are related. because i myself have no idea.

Well, so far, three immediate connections come to mind...

1) Riku was used by Xehanort, posessed, and fell to the path of evil. Terra will (most likely) end up doing the same thing. Both hate Xehanort as a result.

2) One of Terra's quotes from his battle in KH2FM heavily hint he picked Riku to wield the KK.

3) Terra is shown to be associated with Maleficent, probably working with her or something, just as Riku was. He might not be in the same situation, but it's still enough of a connection.

We don't know yet.

Yes, they have some sort of connection. It's this connection that we'll find out in BBS. They have the same voice actor, appearance, and similar clothing to emphasize that connection.

which quote was this if you dont mind my asking. im sorry to say i havent played KH2FM+. i just imported it from play-asia.com and now i have to get the sweep magic cd so that it will play on my american ps2.

but being that you might not know off the top of your head exactly what terra said. can u give me an idea of what it was?

yea everything seems like its pointing that he is roxas or someone very closely related to him. his checkerd bracelet resembles the style roxas had also.

We actually know. You guys just didn't realise it yet. It would be just like Riku losing the battle against Roxas, and Riku decides he would use "The power that's sitiing in my heart. The power of Darkness." If you don't know, the blue eyes turn yellow actually means "The change from the use of Light to the use of Darkness". I actually wanted to say the turn from good to evil but that doesn't apply on Terra (or Riku) clearly.

If we look into the secret ending and imagine what will happen next, it is actually quite obvious. Master Xehanort had summoned Kingdom Hearts for whatever he wants. Terra sees his two companions down and helpless. Assuming his actions would be the same as Riku's (Actually, in a hero movie or game, ANYONE would do that), he decides to use his last resort that is the power of Darkness to combat Master Xehanort OR transferr Kingdom Hearts to somewhere else.

This is why Terra is similiar to Riku. Both of them walks the middle path. Both of them are "Naturals" to the Darkness. They hold no fear to the Darkness because erm...(hard to explain this. Let's just say that they are borned for Darkness) they are somewhat part of Darkness. But, in the midst of Darkness, they both held hope for the Light.

This is all common sense thinking actually... In my forum, this is already a fact...

Also, Ansem's apprentice, Xehanort is Terra is already a solid fact in our forum, even though there are people here who think otherwise for there is no clear proof...

About how Master Xehanort conjure Kingdom Hearts? Nah, remember he turned his Keyblade into a ball of something and throw into the sky? The Keyblade must have unlocked a door (or seal, etc.) that conceals Kingdom Hearts. Which is why Kingdom Hearts appeared there. THIS IS ONLY AN ASSUMPTION. However, if this assumption is true, this will mean that Kingdom Hearts originates from the three knights world, then something happened and it was transferred somewhere else (No need to say liao here. You guys can guess how and why it Kingdom Hearts was transferred away.)

Nomura does mislead us quite a bit. I remember in KH2 interviews, he's was stating how Sora's clothes had a significant meaning when it affected nothing more than some gameplay possibilities.

Also hundred's of theories are being thought up every few days, but there is not a single theory out there that is generally accepted. Something he stated that seems very significant could actually be very small to the plot, and vice versa. Even if just one of these theories is true, which probably isn't, it won't be generally believed. I could go back in time and map out the entire KH2 plot based on the info Nomura gave us with the corressponding date and users would still find ways to contradict what I say. "But what about X Y and Z? Why would X do that to Y?" et cetera.

Even if there is something widely believed, it could very well be wrong. You wouldn't believe how long people thought DiZ was in Organization XIII, aka "The Superior".

And the clothes DOES give significant meaning. It was hinted in KH2, and strongly hinted in the new series. Don't you realise yet?
