So what is this Merlin?? Nomura has stated, that there are two ways of traveling between worlds; GUMMI-SHIPS and CORRIDORS OF DARKNESS.

So is this Merlin some kind of cheater??! First he transports himself and Sora,Donald and Goofy too from Hollow Bastion to Disney Castle!

But that wasnt enough to him!! He made a door, which leads to past!

LOOK:

What is this????!! And Maleficent created similar door too to past!!!! So why wouldnt Xemnas go too??! And why wouldnt all ppl go change their future!!??

Merlin most likely used Magic to transport Sora, Donald, Goofy and himself. And Maleficent didn't create that Door. Pete unintentionally created it by wishing he could go back in time and change things.

Merlin was taken from the character design in "The Sword in the Stone," a 1963 Disney movie. In that movie, Merlin has the power to travel in time and travel around the world via teleportation.
They're just keeping him in character :3.

He's a wizard he used magic to transport the gummi ship from hollow bation to disney castle and used his magic from the sword in the stone to create the door to the past and malificent didn't create the other door it had already existed and had ended up in hollow bastion while pete was there and malificent wasn't.

1. The rules of magic are complicated. For one spell to work, did you know you have to have a certain amount of EXACT ingredients. If you substitute ingredients, your shit could kill you.

This is a real rule of magic.

Just like Sora is a keybladee master and can do specific things with the keyblade merlin and Yen sid are mastersof magic so who knows what their limits are.
